An Australian makeup artist has revealed how she shaves years from her appearance using basic techniques and specific cosmetic brands.
Natasa Novakovic, 36, from Sydney, is a self-taught makeup artist and has spent a lot of her spare time watching and learning about makeup.
As a result, she has managed to shave years off her appearance and highlight her natural beauty.
A before and after photo she shared online has taken the internet by storm and now she has revealed exactly how she did it.

'This was my "day time" look for a casual Sunday. This photo is not edited or filtered in any way,' she told FEMAIL.
When it comes to creating a youthful look Ms Novakovic said less is more, as cakey makeup can age people's faces.
The 36-year-old said she loves soft, glowy, skin so always reaches for MAC Studio Fix Foundation, which is her favourite as it has a medium buildable coverage.
For this look she said she next used the Instant Age Rewind Concealer by Maybelline and set it with Laura Mercier Setting Powder.

When applying makeup Ms Novakovic will often apply highlighter on the top of her cheeks with a very light hand
'I used a highlighter on the top of my cheeks, with a very light hand, and a blush that has a little bit of shimmer in it,' she said.
She also used the Tarte Blush Bazaar palette, the Mecca Cosmetica Enlightened Powder and the Too Faced Chocolate Matte Bronzer.
'On my eyes I have a little bit of light brown to deepen my crease and a bronze shimmer all over the lid with a favourite of mine, a winged liner by Bobbi Brown and Stila Huge Mascara,' Ms Novakovic said.
'I love filling in my eye brows with NYX Micro Brow Pencil, the only problem with that is, it’s so good, it’s always sold out!'
For the lipstick she used the new Nude by Nature Moisture Shine to keep the look as natural and as youthful as possible.
She said mascara is a must for her as she doesn't always wear false lashes and it makes her eyes pop
'Concealer is great for hiding those dark circles under the eyes, covering blemishes, or using as an eye shadow base to make your eye shadows last longer,' she said
She used a light hand for all of the products and made sure it wasn't too heavy, which helped her look so fresh-faced.
As people age, using heavy makeup can fortunately sink into the skin and make fine lines and wrinkles look more prominent.
Ms Novakovic explained that it doesn't have to be difficult for people to recreate similar looks on themselves at home, they just need to know which brands to look for and how makeup responds to their skin.
When it comes to finding the right foundation that matches people's skin tone, she recommends popping into a local makeup store and having their skin colour matched.

'There are so many things to look out for, and it can get a little confusing at times. People need to pay attention to things like tones, undertones and finish but keep in mind your skin type,' she said.
'For example, if you have oily skin, maybe try an oil free foundation.'
Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless are some of her favourite foundations, as is MAC Studio Fix.
'Also, invest in some good quality brushes from brands like Zoeva, Sigma and Morphe.'
Sometimes bloggers make beauty seem inaccessible as they flaunt their products that are worth hundreds of dollars.
But Ms Novakovic said there are a lot of affordable drugstore makeup brands that have excellent quality products.

They won't break the bank but she said the quality is there.
'That doesn’t necessarily mean everything they come out with is as good as MAC, Nars, Dior or other high-end brands, you just need to find products that work for you,' the self-taught makeup artist said.
She also said less is more when concealer and setting powders are concerned.
Ms Novakovic recommended that people avoid going too light with their concealer shade and should aim for one that is only one or two shades lighter.
She said that when it comes to foundation, getting the right shade is crucial
'I used to do the Instagram and You Tube trend to make this big triangle with concealer under my eyes, and then “bake” with setting powder,' she said.
'Honestly, my makeup wasn’t looking the best when I did this. I did some research and it turns out, as we get older, our under eye area gets a little bit drier, and all that product will settle into our fine lines and all that “baking” will draw moisture out and make our skin seem even drier.
'So I started using less concealer and less setting powder, just a light dusting across the area with my brush, and my makeup has looked much better since!'
Ms Novakovic wants people to remember that makeup is meant to be fun and that they should aim to be themselves.
'While cut creases and glitter might be fun to look at, it might not translate well into your everyday life, and that’s okay,' she said.
'Take parts that you like and implement them into your makeup routine, and leave the ones you don’t.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
