«Breaking News» Moeen Ali slams Australia claiming they 'disrespect' people and players

England all-rounder Moeen Ali has labelled Australia 'rude' and the only team he has ever disliked, but believes they have been 'humbled' by the ball-tampering scandal in Cape Town.

Ali, who admits he wanted to be dropped during a torrid Ashes series where he averaged 19.88 with the bat and 115 with the ball last winter, claims they are the only team he has disliked in his career.

The 31-year-old says they were an abusive side who disrespected people and players.

'Everyone you speak to . . . they are the only team I've played against my whole life that I've actually disliked', he told The Times.

'Not because it's Australia and they are the old enemy but because of the way they carry on and [their] disrespect of people and players.'

'I'm someone who generally feels sorry for people when things go wrong but it's difficult to feel sorry for them. This ODI series they were very good actually; they'd been humbled.'

Tim Paine led a makeshift Australian side to England this summer, shorn of captain Steve Smith and his vice David Warner.

The pair are serving 12 month bans for deliberately using sandpaper to change the condition of the ball during the Cape Town Test against South Africa in March.

Ali reveals his lack of respect for the Aussies stretches back to his first meeting with them at the 2015 World Cup, where England were demolished by 111 runs in Sydney.

'They were not just going hard at you, they were almost abusing you. That was the first time it hit me.

'I gave them the benefit of the doubt but the more I played against them they were just as bad, the Ashes here [in 2015] they were worse actually. Not intimidating, just rude.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
