«Breaking News» injury notebook: Jags' Fournette (hamstring) exits

Jacksonville running back Leonard Fournette left the Jaguars' Sunday game against the New York Giants in the second quarter with a hamstring injury and did not return.

Fournette came up holding his right hamstring after being tackled on a short catch. The team initially designated him questionable to return before ruling him out in the third quarter.

T.J. Yeldon stepped in as the primary back in Fournette's absence, finishing with 14 carries for 51 yards, as well as three catches for 18 yards and a score. Fournette had nine carries for 41 yards plus three receptions for 14 yards.

--Houston Texans right tackle Seantrel Henderson was carted off the field in the second quarter against the New England Patriots and later diagnosed with a broken left ankle.

Henderson got rolled up on by a few players after Patriots defensive end Keionta Davis hit quarterback Deshaun Watson from the opposite direction. Rookie Martinas Rankin, a third-round draft pick who spent most of training camp on the physically unable to perform list, took over at right tackle. Cornerback Kevin Johnson also left for the Texans after being diagnosed with a concussion.

On the Patriots' side, running back Jeremy Hill left with a knee injury after taking a helmet to the knee in the third quarter. He did not return. Hill had four carries for 25 yards and one catch for 6 yards before departing.

--Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson left early against the Saints due to a concussion and did not return.

Jackson had his head slammed to the turf while making a 35-yard catch down the right sideline midway through the fourth quarter. He finished his day with five grabs for 146 yards, including 58- and 36-yard touchdowns.

Bucs cornerback Vernon Hargreaves also left and did not return after suffering a shoulder injury. Tampa Bay wideout Mike Evans left briefly with an apparent arm injury but returned, finishing with seven catches for 147 yards and a 50-yard score.

--Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen left the team's game against the Dallas Cowboys in the first quarter with a right foot injury and was ruled out.

Olsen, who was a late addition to the injury report this week with a back issue, was active and made two catches for 33 yards before heading to the locker room at the end of the first quarter.

The 33-year-old spent much of last season on injured reserve after breaking his right foot, and he aggravated the issue after returning in the second half of the season.

--Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin left the team's game against the Denver Broncos in the first quarter with a knee injury and was ruled out.

Baldwin got his right knee rolled up on while he was blocking, and trainers tended to him before he limped off the field. He returned briefly before the Seahawks deemed him out just after halftime. He did not catch his only target in the game.

Baldwin, who turns 30 later this month, missed all of the preseason with soreness in his left knee, telling reporters in late August he was "about 80 to 85 percent" and would probably deal with the issue for the rest of the season.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
