«Breaking News» Harry Winkler celebrates Emmy win with Happy Days pal Ron Howard

He was nominated for six Emmys over the past 42 years.

And there was no better way for Henry Winkler to celebrate his first ever win then with his former partner-in-crime and Happy Days co-star.

The 72-year-old actor known for his role as Arthur Fonzarelli aka 'Fonzie' reunited with Ron Howard, 64, on the night of his big win at the 70th Annual Emmy Awards on Monday night.

Henry took to Twitter to share a cute snap of himself embracing the actor who played Richie Cunningham at the star-studded event held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.

The veteran actor had been nominated for his role on Happy Days three times previously as this was his first ever win for his HBO series Barry.

Winkler posted the snap with the cute caption featuring the two actors with big smiles on their face with the caption: 'Pals at the Emmys.'

He then thanked his colleagues Bill Hader and Alec Berg.

This year's ceremony was co-hosted by Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che.

NBC broadcasted the show which airs 8 pm ET/5 pm PT live on both coasts as the network has a long tradition of picking variety show hosts from within its family.

Conan O'Brien hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards back in 2002 and 2006, while SNL alums and late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers hosted in 2010 and 2014 respectively.

It's a particularly exciting year for Netflix as they finally dethroned HBO by earning the most Emmy nominations scoring 112 nods, beating HBO's 108.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
