«Breaking News» Bolt takes break from football pursuit to enjoy zero-gravity flight

Usain Bolt has been used to firsts throughout his career in athletics, and he experienced yet another on Wednesday.

The 100m and 200m world-record holder boarded a flight above France as he took the high life to a whole new level to launch Mumm's first zero-gravity champagne bottle.

The 32-year-old temporarily postponed his pursuit of a professional football contract with Australian A League side Central Coast Mariners to fulfil his longstanding commitment to the appearance, and he looked pretty pleased with is decision.

A video showed the Jamaican getting to grips with the low-gravity surroundings as floated through the aircraft, before grabbing on to one of the other passengers in a minor panic as he struggled to return to the ground.

There was even enough room for a race between Bolt and two of his fellow aeronauts, which even with the change in conditions the former Olympic and world champion still won comfortably.

The event was punctuated by the opening of champagne, as Bolt and others chased globules around the craft.

The event was hosted by Mumm, who have created one of the first must-halves for space tourism in making their product available at astronomical heights.

To make the event, Bolt had put a halt to his trial with the Mariners Down Under, but is expected to resume his audition.

He made his debut in a 6-1 win over a Central Coast select XI, coming off the bench in the second half.

Playing just over 20 minutes, the man himself admitted he was some way off proving he has what it takes to nail down a deal.

'I was a little bit nervous, but as soon as I got on the field I think the nerves went away,' Bolt told Fox Sports at the time.

'I wish I had more touches, but I'm not fit yet, but I've just got to put in the work and get up to speed.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
