Two 18-year-old men have been injured in separate stabbings as Britain's knife crime epidemic continues.
This evening one man has been left seriously injured after being stabbed in the leg and stomach in Essex. While another in Balham, London, is said to have suffered a stab wound.
An air ambulance was pictured in an area of Chelmsford after an alleged stabbing occurred earlier this evening.
A large police cordon is currently blocking a junction and both officers and paramedics are currently on the scene.

An air ambulance is said to have already left the Oakland's Estate which had first landed at around 5pm this evening.
Forensic investigators are also present, along with Essex Police's dog unit and around five police cars.
Essex Police have said they are appealing for witnesses following the stabbing.
'We were called at 5.05pm today, Wednesday 20 March, with reports a man had been found injured in St John's Avenue.
'The 18-year-old from Chelmsford had stab wounds to the stomach and leg and was taken by air ambulance to hospital. His injuries were described as serious.'
'A search is ongoing for the suspects and we ask witnesses or anyone with information to call Chelmsford CID on 101 quoting incident 820 of March 20.'
This is while in London witnesses reported seeing an air ambulance landing in Clapham Common as commuters got off the tube.
Police said they were called to reports of an injured male at Balham Hill, SW12.
'Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance [HEMS] attended. At the scene an 18-year-old male had suffered a stab wound.
'The injured male was taken by HEMS to a west London hospital. We await an update on his condition.'
A crime scene has been established and no arrests have yet been made.

The news of the two stabbings this evening comes after a huge leap in knife crime which saw Spanish national David Martinez, become the 14th stabbing fatality in 16 days earlier this month, after 17-year-olds Jodie Chesney and Yousef Makki, were killed in separate incidents in London and Greater Manchester.
Home Secretary Sajid Javid is calling for more money to tackle knife crime, while Theresa May and Met Commissioner Cressida Dick recently clashed over whether a reduction in officer numbers had fuelled the problem.
The killings have prompted warnings of a 'national emergency' and sparked intense scrutiny of reductions in the size of the police workforce.
The number of officers in the 43 territorial forces in England and Wales has fallen by more than 24,000 since 2009, and numbers of PCSOs have falled more than 5,000 in the same period.
Mrs May, who was home secretary from 2010 to 2016, argued at the beginning of March there was 'no direct correlation between certain crimes and police numbers'.
Earlier today a shocking haul of weapons was revealed to have been handed in to police over the last seven days as units across the UK continue to fight knife crime.
The amnesty was part of a national campaign, Operation Sceptre, run by police forces across the country to reduce the number of illegal knives in circulation.
It was set up after most forces saw increases in the number of knife-related incidents over the past three years.

An air ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
