President Trump took credit on Wednesday for keeping a tank plant in Ohio open.
'If it weren't for me this place would have been closed,' he said in a speech, where he demanded, again, that General Motors reopen a factory 200 miles to the east or sell it to someone who will.
Trump also boasted that he'll have an easier time getting elected, given all he's done for the economy, especially minorities and women, the next time he's on the ballot.
'No, the easy part, and I say this to all of your political leaders here: If you do a good job it's a lot easier that second time. But nobody's has done the job that we've done,' he proclaimed.

The president had just finished touring the Lima Army Tank Plant, which had been under threat of closure until the Trump administration injected more money into the Pentagon's budget.
According to CBS News, the Defense of Department directed $714 million to the production of tanks like the M1A1 Abrams.
He told a Lima, Ohio, audience that included the secretary of the army and his acting Pentagon chief, that the previous administration budged no money for tanks, putting the plant that's owned by the government and operated by General Dynamics in danger.
'Four straight years, the number of U.S. tanks that were budgeted for upgrades was zero. Does anybody remember that? Raise your hands. Remember that? Zero. That was under your great president Obama,' the president asserted.
Trump opened 50-minutes of remarks with a reminder for cheering factory workers that he's the one lining their pockets.
'Well you better love me, but I kept this place open,' he said. 'This is some tank plant, there's nothing like it in the world.'
He said he wanted to sit behind the wheel of a tank while he was touring the plant, but then he recalled a George H.W. Bush campaign ad that decimated the former Massachusetts Gov. Mike Dukakis' 1988 bid for the presidency
He said he wanted to sit behind the wheel of a tank while he was touring the plant, but then he recalled a George H.W. Bush campaign ad that decimated the former Massachusetts Gov. Mike Dukakis' 1988 bid for the presidency.
'I want to get into them, but then I remember when a man named Dukakis got into a tank,' he said. 'I've never seen anyone tank like that.'
All that talk about tanks reminded Trump that he had a map with him of the territory ISIS held when he was elected and the territory that it holds today.
'ISIS, when I came in it was a mess....where the hell is that chart,' he asked. 'When I took over it was a mess, sea of red, and now you look at it, and there's no red, no red.'
Why it matters: GM is a major employer across a swathe of three states won by Trump, two of which had been seen as part of Hillary Clinton's 'blue wall'
Ohio will play a central role in Trump's 2020 coalition. He won the state in 2016, which he admitted on Wednesday is a factor in his interest in the Lima plant and the General Motors factory in the state that's closing down.
'Because the economy is so good, General Motors must get their Lordstown, Ohio, plant open, maybe in a different form or with a new owner, FAST!' Trump tweeted Saturday.
It was a marked change from his previous claim that 'it doesn't really matter,' because the state, under his leadership, will 'replace those jobs in like two minutes.'
He said Wednesday that 'everybody wants it' with explaining what he meant.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
