«Breaking News» Trump campaign raises post-Mueller money with talk of investigating Democrats

Donald Trump's re-election campaign lost no time in capitalizing on Sunday's bombshell news that the Robert Mueller probe largely cleared the president with a fundraising campaign that hinted at investigating his political enemies.

In text messages to millions of supporters, a nationwide 'NO COLLUSION OR OBSTRUCTION' fundraising email blast and an aggressive video message, the Trump 2020 team issued a call for financial revenge against Democrats who made hay for 22 months while the president twisted in the wind.

'NO COLLUSION & COMPLETE EXONERATION!' read one text message, complete with a link to a fundraising Web page. 'Dems raised millions off a lie. Now we FIGHT BACK! Donate in the NEXT HOUR & it'll be QUADRUPLED.'

And a YouTube video that quickly racked up thousands of views made a case that Democrats 'hyped collusion with no evidence.'

It encouraged viewers to text the word 'WITCHHUNT,' a favorite Trump epithet for the Russia probe, to a campaign number.

Nothing in the video asks for a donation, but the campaign is building what insiders call the largest-ever private database of voters' cell phone numbers, to be used later for fundraising and pre-election messaging.

In a letter to leaders of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, Attorney General William Barr wrote that the special counsel's investigation found no evidence the campaign colluded with Russia – a claim the president's opponents began publicly making before he took office.

The Trump campaign focused on five prominent Democrats whose TV appearances have included accusations that Mueller's team found were untrue.

'The evidence is pretty clear that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians,' Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal told MSNBC's audience in February 2018.

The Trump campaign's ad replays the video and stamps 'WRONG' over his face, complete with a game-show buzzer sound effect.

'I think there's plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight,' House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said on 'Face the Nation' in August.

He gets the same red-stamp treatement.

It happens, too, to California Rep. Swalwell, who said in March 2018 that 'we saw strong evidence of collusion' in a House Intelligence Committee probe.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler of New York triggered the Trump buzzer for telling MSNBC in October 2017 that 'we know there was collusion with people in the campaign.'

And Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez was buzzed for his April 2018 claim, in unfriendly Fox News Channel territory, that there was 'a mountain of evidence of collusion between the campaign and the Russians.'

The email came later, as cable TV pundits were dissecting the day's special-counsel wind sprints.

'After more than 2 YEARS, and $25 MILLION taxpayer dollars spent, the Mueller Report proves what I have been saying since Day One,' says the money-bomb ask, signed by the president.

'Democrats worked with the Fake News Media for 2 years orchestrating this Nasty Witch Hunt to use our government as a weapon to take away the votes of 63 MILLION Americans.'

Potential donors who scroll past the click-to-give buttons read a hint at what may be the president's next move.

'You voted for REAL CHANGE in 2016, and they were TERRIFIED of the people taking the country back,' the fundraising email reads.

'Now It’s time to INVESTIGATE THEM!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
