«Breaking News» Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw blasts the left for being obsessed with high taxes

Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw slammed liberals saying, 'Why does the left hate tax cuts?' while calling out the  'benevolent bureaucrats' for wasteful spending in government.

The Congress freshman shared video of himself addressing his colleagues on taxes and how the government should view spending, while touting the success of Trump's 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

'Why does the left hate the tax cuts? Because they think the people exist to fund the govt. We believe the govt exists to protect the inalienable rights of the people,' Crenshaw, who serves on the Homeland Security and Budgets committee, tweeted on Tuesday.

'When people keep their money, we get more jobs & wage growth, & less wasteful spending by "benevolent" bureaucrats,' he added.

He slammed the left's obsession with taxes saying that it's misused by the 'benevolent bureaucrats' who create more unnecessary social programs for the public.

'We’re talking about a difference in philosophy. We’re not just talking about tax rates. It’s a question of whether the government should be taking more of your money of whether you should keep more of your money. It’s the difference in the role of government, in what we believe,' he said in a speech on Tuesday.

'It seems to me that what you all believe is that the role of government is to tax the people as much as possible so you and your benevolent fellow academics can dream up more programs for the government to spend money on. I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that is what the role of government is for,' he added.

Then he argued the government should be taxing as little as possible.

'The role of government is to tax people to the least extent possible, while still taxing them enough to cover basic needs for government. And if we’re questioning what those needs are we can just look at our Constitution, they’re generally pretty clear there,' he added.

He slammed claims that anecdotes from the Republican 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act are 'imaginative'.

The Tax Cuts Act was spearheaded by Republicans and the Trump administration.

'It’s literally not imagination to bring up anecdotes. It’s literally not that. It’s reality,' he said.

Then he cited stats of success from the Act saying in Texas it increased education opportunities $150 million at McDonald's, resulted in $500 employee bonuses at Camp Construction Services, slashed prices for customers at CenterPoint Energy, led to $500 employee bonuses at at Group One Automotive, and $1,600 employee bonuses at Cabot Oil & Gas.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
