'I am in shock,' the 46-year-old actress told People Monday. 'Heartbroken. Devastated by the loss of my friend. I have so many memories with Luke that make me smile and that are forever imprinted on my heart and mind ... I will miss him everyday. Every minute. Every second.'

The latest: Shannen Doherty, 46, expressed her grief following the death of her Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Luke Perry at 52 on Monday. She was snapped at an event in Culver City, California on Sunday
Perry's death came days after he suffered a massive stroke last Wednesday, his publicist Arnold Robinson said, noting the actor's family and friends were by his side in his final moments.
She noted how Perry was a positive presence for her amid her years-long cancer battle after years of silence.
'Luke reached out to me during my cancer journey and we picked right back up, albeit older and wiser, but that connection remained in tact,' said Doherty, who underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation en route to being declared cancer-free in April of 2017.
She opened up about their time on the teen drama, which Perry was on from 1990-95, later returning for the show's final seasons in 1998-2000.
Out and about: The actress was snapped Sunday at The Compassion Project's 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala
Sunny days: The duo played on-again, off-again boyfriend and girlfriend Brenda Walsh and Dylan McKay on the series
'There is a special kind of love one has for each other when you are experiencing the journey we did on 90210 and of course life in general,' she said.
While neither was linked to the upcoming reboot of the series, she said that she and Perry, who was on The CW's Riverdale in recent years, had been 'working on show ideas' to reunite in front of the camera.
'We wanted to work with each other again,' she said, 'and create something special and meaningful for our fans at this stage in our lives.'
Formal: The relationship between Brenda and Dylan was a key storyline throughout the series
What could have been: The TV stars recently chatted about working together again, according to Doherty
She opened up about a recent meeting they had, saying 'a couple of weeks ago in February, Luke and I met up for lunch.
''He chose the restaurant based on who would allow his dog. I walked in and there he was, smiling, with his dog Penny and her bed under the booth, happy as can be. I will never forget - and will miss - Luke looking at me with that smile of his saying … Shan.'
She noted how he 'loved his family' and 'how proud he was' of his kids, son Jack, 21, and daughter Sophie, 18.
Beyond 90210, Perry left behind more than 35 years of credits in movies and TV, where he also had memorable runs on shows such as Oz, John from Cincinnati and Body of Proof. His film career included roles in movies such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 8 Seconds and The Fifth Element.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
