Walker's star rose in the mid-1960s as part of the Walker Brothers, with smash hits such as Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore and No Regrets.

His solo albums, Scott I through to Scott IV, were hailed by critics and thought to be ambitious and innovative at the time.

Walker's most recent compositions featured in the musical Vox Lux starring Natalie Portman, released last year.

Born in Ohio in 1943, Walker lived in Britain from 1965 to 1970 and became a citizen as his powerful baritone voice captured the hearts of listeners across the world.

Noel Scott Engel began using his stage name of Scott Walker in the early 1960s when he was living in Los Angeles.

In 1954, he started performing with John Maus and they later linked up with Gary Leeds, whose father financially backed them to tour the UK.

Maus originally took lead vocals when they began making records in London in 1965, but the label soon realised it was Walker's voice which should take the lead.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
