«Breaking News» R. Kelly warns Gayle King to 'be careful' and reveals his preference for women with 'tight bodies'

R. Kelly warned Gayle King to 'be careful' as she asked him about a past girlfriend in another tense moment of their explosive interview.

The full CBS interview will air on Friday night in an hour-long prime time special which King promises contains yet more footage viewers will find 'compelling'.

It contains Kelly's comments about why he dates young girls as opposed to women, saying he prefers 'tight bodies' but insisting he 'kicks it with 43-year-olds' whose figures live up to his standards.

'I know 43-year-olds, bodies tight, they cool, I go out with them, I kick it with them. I love women,' Kelly said in a clip King shared on Stephen Colbert on Thursday night.

King also asked him about Dominique Gardner, a 29-year-old who spent nine years with the singer before her mother, Michelle, tracked her down to an L.A. hotel nine months ago and took her home.

Their emotional reunion was one of the key scenes in the Lifetime docu-series Surviving R. Kelly.

Dominique lost 20lbs while living with Kelly and drastically altered her appearance to make herself look less feminine, apparently at his insistence.

Kelly brought her up in his interview with King, saying: 'This is just the beginning. You can say what Dominique's mother...' he began.

King interrupted: 'She says she had to rescue her daughter.'

At that, Kelly became agitated.

'Rescue? Oh really? Be careful, be careful Gayle. Gayle, be careful,' he said.

When she replied that she was merely repeating what Michelle Kramer had said, he shot back: 'You're not just saying it. You're breaking my heart, you're saying it like you believe it.'

Michelle Kramer revealed in a separate interview that she and her daughter watched part of his interview but that they could not stomach the full thing.

Dominique, who is now in therapy, threw the remote at the television while watching it, her mother said.

Michelle called Kelly's emotional outbursts a 'circus act' and said his eruption in front of King reminded her daughter of the abuse he allegedly subjected her to.

'Everything he said when he jumped up, she remembered the rage. When she wouldn't do what he asked her to do, rage. "You walk too slow, you did whatever," and it was a punishment,' she said, recalling the abuse her daughter says she endured.

'When my daughter came home, she was 98lbs. When she left to be with him she was 125lbs. I can't understand how somebody says they love you and in the same breath, spits in your motherf*****g face,' Kramer cried.

Asanti McGee, another woman who took part in the Lifetime docu-series and who lived with Kelly for a time, said his outburst 'terrified' her.

'There was nothing that I felt sorry about him for. I know what type of mind he is. He would cry at the drop of the dime. He is a great performer,' she said of his hysterics.

Kitti Jones, another accuser, was disturbed by his interview but said she believes he needs help.

'I cried because I still saw the person that I fell in love with and I couldn't help but wonder, why didn't someone step in and help him earlier.'

During her appearance on Colbert on Thursday night, King said she felt her interview, which has been praised around the world, exposed a man having a 'breakdown'.

'I think we were witnessing the self-destruction of a man having a breakdown and that's never a good thing to see,' she said, adding that while she feels his 'pain and anger', 'he knows what he has done.'

She also explained why she was so calm when Kelly leaped out of his chair in a tantrum.

'When I see Robert getting really upset, my initial reaction is 'please don't leave, please don't leave, please don't leave,"' she said.

King revealed that some of Kelly's songs, including I Believe I Can Fly, were among her favorites but that she now listened to them with 'different ears'.

'I Believe I Can Fly is one of my favorites. We are hearing it now with different ears.

'None of these are new allegations, when you see the people come out the way they're talking ... you can't unhear it,' she said.

Kelly gave the interview before being put in custody for failing to pay $161,000 in backdated child support to his ex-wife.  He will stay there until he comes up with the money.

Separately, he is facing felony charges for child sexual abuse and rape against four victims between 1998 and 2010.

If convicted of those crimes, he will spend at least 70 years behind bars. Police are also investigating claims he raped a 13-year-old girl repeatedly for years.

The singer, who denies ever sleeping with underage girls, claimed in the CBS interview that he has just $350,000 left in the bank.

While it was enough to pay his child support - which he has not - and his $100,000 bond from his first arrest - which he didn't - , Kelly decried not having more money in and accused his ex-wife of 'destroying' his name by alleging he abused her.

Andrea Kelly is one of dozens of women who have detailed how he domestically, sexually and mentally abused her.

They were married for nine years and have three children.

Kelly claims he knows his children 'love' him but that he does not have a relationship with him.

In January, when the Lifetime docu-series swept the world and laid bare the mountain of allegations against him, his oldest daughter Joann spoke out.

She called him a 'monster' and said she had nothing to do with him.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
