Paul Hollywood's ex wife Alex has hit back at claims she became embroiled in a spat with his new girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, 24, in a supermarket.
Appearing on Thursday's This Morning, the chef, who wed the Great British Bake Off judge in 1998, said there was 'no spat or row' between her and barmaid Summer, 23, adding the police weren't called and she didn't use abusive language.
Alex also expressed a wish to be 'settled and happy' as she moves on from the pair's 'hard' divorce, and hopes for the same for Paul, 53.

Alex's comments come after The Sun claimed she and Summer had become embroiled in an argument while shopping in a Marks and Spencer's in Canterbury, Kent, earlier this year.
The fracas is even alleged to have resulted in police being called, having initially started at the checkout before spilling out into the car park, with one witness describing the language used as 'disgusting'.
Denying the claims, Alex said: 'First of all I was really excited to coming on the show to cook, I wanted to be here when you said I could come on and there's also speculation about things so I would like to say the reports about this so-called spat, fight.
'It's supposedly in M & S but I can say I didn't say those things, there was no spat no row, I didn't call the police.

'All of the stories are so far from the truth that I don't want to comment on them at all, all I can say is that there was no row.
'I didn't use that language and I think the most important thing for me to say is divorce is such a hard thing to go on, it's such a difficult thing especially if you're in the public eye.'
Summer's mother Sabina recently defended her daughter and took the TV baker's former wife to task over her alleged nasty behaviour.
Summer's sister Saskia captioned the video, which has since been viewed thousands of times, 'the truth is finally out' before it cuts to her mother Sabina, who speaks for five minutes outlining what she understands to be the truth of the matter.
She says the attack was categorically started by the baker's ex wife, who she says verbally abused her 23-year-old daughter as she went shopping.

But according to the Mirror, a spokesman for Alex insisted at the time: 'Alex has kept a dignified position throughout the last 14 months, which have been extremely challenging, and continues to do so.
'Alex was shocked to bump into Summer in her local supermarket, but even in that difficult situation she did not, and would not ever, verbally abuse anyone.'
Paul and Summer met when the baker was organising a birthday party for his wife at the pub where Summer worked.
They have insisted their relationship began only after his marriage fell apart in November 2017 but Alexandra filed for divorce last August on grounds of adultery.
Speaking about the intense speculation surrounding her and Paul's marriage, she said: 'I totally get that I was married to somebody who was part of one of the nicest shows for years, and alongside that you get the media interest.
She said: 'It's supposedly in M & S but I can say I didn't say those things, there was no spat no row, I didn't call the police'
'But my son looks to me to see how to deal with this, to get through this, and I would never say anything to compromise his trust, because I know I am to a certain extent in the public eye because of my association, because of my marriage.'
'My grandmother said always live with no regrets and I totally believe taking chances with both hands and if you're given an opportunity and if you work together as a team, and we did together as a really great team, of course you're going to take it.'
Alex denied she was 'angry', said she was now determined to move on with her life and wished nothing but the best for Paul, with whom she shares a teenage son.
She said: 'It's sad when a marriage comes to an end for everybody but now I want to move on I really do, but actually I have a whole life ahead of me, so that is what I'm going to be doing, I'm taking my chances and trying to look forward because if you keep on looking back and saying "what if" then you cannot look ahead.'
'I need to move on I want to live my life and this is not right, so we've come to this point, no one thinks they're going to be divorced, but when you do you just have to move on.

'It's a case of being able to deal with it yourself, and I can live with this, I think where am I going next? Where is this going to go? I have my son to look out for as well, I want to be happy, I want to be settled and happy and I want to experience new things.'
Phil asked her whether she wishes the same to Paul, she responded ‘Yes, of course because he is the father of my son and that is only a healthy good thing.
'Is there still communication? I think that’s a question probably best asked to Paul. I can’t answer that.'
Paul and Alexandra announced their split in November 2017.
They previously separated in 2013 when the TV chef admitted his affair with Marcela Valladolid, his co-star on the US version of Bake Off, but reconciled shortly after.
The couple reconciled a few months later and he described the incident as 'the biggest mistake of my life' in an interview with BBC radio.

Speaking at the time, he told the BBC he 'was shocked about the whole thing kicking off the way it did... but I deserved it and I've taken it. It was my punishment.'
However a source told The Sun: 'Paul was totally into Marcela and threw himself in with both feet.
'When it all fell apart he went back to Alex with his tail between his legs, but in reality if Marcela had wanted to keep it going he was all for it.'
The couple said in a joint statement in November 2017: 'It is with sadness that we have decided to separate.
'Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son, and we would ask the press and public to allow us privacy as a family during this very difficult time.'
Earlier that month Paul was pictured kissing the winner of the seventh season of Bake Off, Candice Brown.

Series seven winner Candice was spotted with Paul as he cupped the back of her head and kissed her goodbye following a night out at the Pride of Britain Awards in London.
She was also seen toying with Paul's ear as they relaxed at the table at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
After the images were released, Candice branded it a 'goodbye peck'.
A spokesman for the pair said it was an 'innocent kiss on the cheek', and that it was 'untrue' to describe it as an 'intimate kiss'.
Alexandra's appearance comes amid claims Paul has reportedly been axed from the BBC's Good Food Show and replaced by her - who will appear alongside Mary Berry at the Birmingham event.

It comes after the Bake Off judge allegedly fell out with his former co-judge when at last year's show following his treatment of his former partner, 54, a close friend of Mary's.
A source told The Sun: 'Mary has made it clear were her loyalties lie - and it's not with Paul.
'She's still upset with how he behaved with Alex and is not even making an attempt to get to know Summer.
'And to avoid any awkwardness with Paul, she's more than happy to work with Alex and help boost her profile as a budding celebrity cook.'
Alex will reportedly join Mary on stage when they attend the occasion at Birmingham's NEC in June.
During last November’s BBC Good Food Show, Mary refused to join Paul during his cooking demonstration, with a source at the time insisting she said 'no quite forcefully'.
The 83-year-old also apparently refused to be pictured with her former Bake Off colleague, while snubbing his new girlfriend.
During her cooking demo on the show, Alex touched on the Good Food Show, saying: ‘I'm not judging, I'm going up to do demos, lots of chefs go they tend to go, if they don't have filming commitments, I don't know I just know that I'm booked, it's quite exciting.‘

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
