«Breaking News» Outrage as California students are pictured playing Nazi-themed drinking game

A group of high school students throwing Nazi salutes while apparently playing a drinking game with cups arranged in the shape of a swastika have caused outrage.

Most of teenagers are believed to be current or former students of Newport Harbor High School, in California.

The party took place at the weekend and was not affiliated with the school, but administrators have launched an investigation after pictures circulated online.

Images seem to show students playing a Nazi-themed version of 'rage cage', a drinking game similar to beer pong.

The game typically involves beer-filled cups arranged into a circle or square in the middle of the table which players bounce a ping-pong ball into.

However, these images show the cups arranged in the shape of a swastika.

In one of the pictures, a dozens students are seen standing around the swastika, with the majority of them throwing a one-armed Nazi salute.

Newport-Mesa Unified School District officials sent a letter to parents on Sunday which read: 'We were made aware of social media postings involving some students who created inappropriate anti-Semitic symbols, and possible underage drinking.

'While these actions did not occur on any school campus or school function, we condemn all acts of anti-Semitism and hate in all their forms.'

School and district officials met the same day and are now liaising with law enforcement about appropriate disciplinary measures.

Jewish community leaders called for the students to be suspended after images circulated of their game which included red cups in the shape of a swastika

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, who preaches in Los Angeles, told the LA Times that he believes all students involved should be suspended.

He said: 'This is an insult to the 6 million Jews who died in the Holocaust.

'It’s also an insult to the many thousands of families in Southern California whose loved ones in the Greatest Generation fought, bled and died to defeat the Nazis and defeat the swastika.'

According to the Anti-Defamation League, reports of anti-Semitic crimes are on the rise, with 58 per cent rise reported between 2016 and 2017.

The rise was due, in part, because of an increase on school and college campuses, according to the organization.

In 2017, a group of far-right activists caused outrage when they marched through Charlottesville with tiki torches chanting Nazi slogans such as 'blood and soil' and 'Jews will not replace us.'

Then, in October last year, a gunman broke into the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh and shot 11 worshipers dead in what has been described as an anti-Semitic attack.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
