Model Ellie O'Donnell has paid a sweet tribute to her 'close friend' Mike Thalassitis after he was found dead on Saturday morning in Edmonton, North London.
The 22-year-old emotionally revealed that Mike had been texting her the day before he died to ask her opinion of some tables for the restaurant he was planning to open.
Ellie described Mike as the 'kindest soul', who was also 'funny' with 'so much to live for' during her tribute, which was accompanied by a selection of images of herself and the Love Island star.

Ellie shared a couple of photographs of the two of them during a recent night out, which she says were from just last week where they enjoyed cocktails and ate pizza.
Although she admitted she didn't get to spend much time with Mike, she said she loved hearing about his passion for his new restaurant venture and his travelling plans.
She said: 'I cannot believe I am writing this. I feel sick. I wish to god this was a nightmare and I could wake up. I can’t believe you are gone. It doesn’t feel real. You were literally texting me yesterday pictures of the samples for the colour of the tables in your new restaurant.

'That was your last text to me. I had no idea it would be the last time I’d ever hear from you. You were the kindest soul, you were so funny, you had so much to live for. I'll never forget the last few days I spent with you. I’m glad I got to hear you laugh and see you smile before you left this world.
'These pics & this video were literally taken last week, I can’t believe we were laughing and joking then eating pizza and now you are not even here. It doesn't feel real, I am numb and feel sickened.
'Mike, I'll never forget you. I'll never forget how passionate you were about your new restaurant, and I'll never forget you telling me about your trip to Thailand telling me how it was the best experience of your life just going out there with no plans, travelling around just living your best life.

Amid her post on her Instagram page, Ellie also shared a cryptic post to her Story which read: 'The girl who seemed unbreakable, broke. She dropped a fake smile and whispered to herself, 'I can't do this anymore'.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Mike Thalassitis was found hanged in a park in Edmonton, North London on Saturday. Mike's manager confirmed the shock news of his passing on Saturday evening.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
