«Breaking News» Mick Gould sends MAFS fans into stitches as he reads a mini version of book 'Goodbye Cruel World'

He's been trapped in his 'marriage' to Jessika Power on Married At First Sight.

And on Monday, Mick Gould sent fans into stitches after they spotted him reading a miniature version of a novel titled 'Goodbye, Cruel World'.

Taking to Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers admitted they enjoyed the dark humour of the Queensland farmer, 31, reading the 'morbid' novel while being forced to stay on the show.

'Mick reading a book called 'Goodbye Cruel World' while waiting for Jess's family to turn up seems weirdly fitting,' one user wrote.

'The running gag of Mick reading the book 'Goodbye Cruel World' throughout the entire series has been very morbid,' another added.  

Other viewers speculated Mick may have read the book several times, as he has been spotted reading it on multiple occasions throughout the season.

Taking to Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers pointed out Mick's choice of reading material 

'The running gag of Mick reading the book 'Goodbye Cruel World' throughout the entire series has been very morbid,' one Twitter user wrote

'Is it just me or has Mick been reading that miniature book for the full 6 weeks this show has been on for?' one fan observed. 

'It's taken 8 weeks for Mick to read that little book,' another joked, while one fan wrote: 'Mick's been reading the same children's book for four episodes.'

'What's that teeny weeny book Mick must have read cover to cover 16 times by now?' another stated.

Mick's recreational reading comes after Mick begged for Jessika to end their 'marriage' during Sunday's commitment ceremony.

However, much to his dismay, he was forced to spend another week with the blonde, 27, after she chose to remain in the experiment instead.

'No you didn't? Please... re-draw... why!' Mick cried after Jessika revealed her decision.

Jessika - who only chose to stay to continue her 'affair' with Dan Webb - has been intimate with the father-of-one in secret over recent weeks.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
