«Breaking News» Meghan Markle's jewellery collection for WE Day

The Duchess of Sussex sported an eclectic collection of jewellery when she made her surprise appearance in London yesterday.

Mother-to-be Meghan, 37, piled on the bracelets and rings for the outing to the SSE Arena, Wembley, where she delighted fans by joining Prince Harry, 34, on stage after he delivered an empowering speech.

From her charity bracelet to the touching wording on her personalised necklace, each piece carried a meaning significant to the Duchess.

But the look didn't come cheap, with the total cost coming in at £3,363 - and that's without her stunning diamond engagement ring and gold wedding band.

The Duchess of Sussex is a fan of wearing several pieces of jewellery at once, bucking the royal trend for keeping accessories to a minimum.

She is often seen wearing several rings, including the delicate £33.50 ($44) Catbird NYC Threadbare Ring which she wore on her thumb yesterday.

Meghan added two more rings on her other hand, both from London-based ethical jewellery label Pippa Small, one of her go-to accessory designers.

The £1,400 Rock Crystal Gold Greek Ring and the 18ct £695 Herkimer Diamond Cup Ring caught the light as Meghan joined her husband in the spotlight.

The Duchess also chose two bangles from the designer, both of which she wore during her unannounced outing to the British Fashion Awards in London in December last year.

The £360 Wajiha Bangle and the £160 Omeen Bangle were both handmade in Kabul by artisans trained by the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, which creates jobs for young people who 'need hope and a sense of purpose in a beautiful country tragically caught up in violence and conflict'.

Her decision to wear the jewellery was a touching nod to her father-in-law, who founded the non-profit NGO in 2006 with the former president of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai.

The Duchess brought further bling to her wrists with the delicate TAI Asymmetrical Circle Moonstone Open Bracelet, £50 ($65).

The California-based brand was founded by jeweller Tai who relocated from her home country of Thailand to the US to study. Her interest in jewellery making and her artistic upbringing led her to founding the business in 2002.

TAI employs some of the finest artisans in Thailand and supports the community where they live.

Another chain link bracelet was spotted on her wrist and is believed to be the Lauren Ralph Lauren Chain Link Slider Bracelet, although this has not been confirmed.

The brand also designed the navy blazer worn by the Duchess yesterday.

On her other wrist Meghan showed further support for the WE Day event by choosing the £15 ($20) Amazon Minga Bracelet - Education from the ME to WE gift collection.

The proceeds made from bracelet go towards supporting projects like new schools and classrooms.

The final, and arguably most personal, piece of jewellery on show was the £645 ($800) gold 'mummy' necklace Meghan wore.

The 18ct creation by celebrity-favourite designer Jennifer Meyer was first spotted on the royal as she left her New York baby shower last month, prompting speculation that it might have been a gift.

The handcrafted necklace was presented to the royal with the British spelling of 'mummy', a touching nod to the impending arrival of Baby Sussex - and her adopted home.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
