«Breaking News» Man is arrested for walking around Brooklyn with a loaded AR-15 style rifle sticking out suitcase

Officers from the New York Police Department have arrested a man for allegedly walking around Brooklyn with a loaded AR-15-style rifle.  

Anthony Morgan, 26, who claims he was carrying the weapon because he had been jumped and mugged, was reported to authorities after a witness saw the gun sticking out of his luggage.  

Police said they responded to Marcy Avenue near Halsey Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 10.30pm on March 1.

Authorities said the gun's stock was protruding from the top of the black luggage case, according to the New York Post.  

When police approached Morgan, he reportedly tried to pull the gun from the bag and flee the scene. 

However, the gun became stuck and Morgan, who has a prior attempted robbery conviction, fled without it, prosecutors said. 

Police chased after him on foot and took him into custody. Authorities also seized the illegal gun, ammunition and several high-capacity magazines.

The weapon was a loaded Sharps AR15 semi-auto with an attached bump stock, authorities said. 

Morgan reportedly told police that he had been mugged earlier in the day on March 1. 

Following the incident, Morgan claims he then went to get the weapon and to settle the score.

Morgan was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on charges of criminal possession of a machine gun, loaded firearm, ammo clip and a stolen iPhone, records show. He was held on a $200,000 bail.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
