«Breaking News» MAFS fans call for Mike Gunner's dad Bob to take over from the show's 'relationship experts'

Married At First Sight's relationship experts have long come under fire for their roles on the dating show from some viewers.

And now, fans are calling for one of the star's family members to take over as an 'expert' instead.

During Monday night's episode, Mike Gunner's father Bob gave some sage advice to his son and 'daughter-in-law' Heidi Latcham, resulting in a flood of praise from fans.

As Mike and Heidi continued to lash out at one another during a tense family catch-up, Bob had some words of wisdom for the young couple. 

'I think the relationship's at a very dangerous stage to be honest. They've both got their shackles up and they're finding fault with each other without reason,' he said as he assessed the marriage in a piece-to-camera. 

And speaking to Mike and Heidi directly, Bob told them: 'Everybody has trouble with communication. 

Bob then admitted he and his wife-of-53-years Michelle had just had an argument before lunch over a 'glass of water' but that doesn't mean their marriage was doomed. 

'There's no such thing as a perfect marriage. There's no such thing as a perfect person,' Bob concluded.

MAFS fans seemed to love the advice and flocked to Twitter to call for Bob to take over from John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Trisha Stratford.

'How do we start a petition to get Mike's dad to become one of the experts?' one fan wrote.

Another added: 'Mike's dad Bob should be the expert! Do a load more than the 3 wise monkeys.'

Yet another Tweet read: 'SACK THE EXPERTS!!! Mike’s dad to solve world peace!!!!!' 

Echoing the sentiment was another fan, who wrote: 'Can we fire all the "experts" and just put Mike's dad on the couch from now on.'

Meanwhile, someone else questioned: 'Why is Mike's dad better at advice than the experts?'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
