«Breaking News» Luke Perry and his fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer had planned their summer wedding

Luke Perry passed away aged 52 on March 4, days after suffering a huge stroke at his Southern Californian home.  

And it's been reported that Beverly Hills 90210 star Luke Perry and his fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer, 44, had planned to marry in LA on August 17.

TMZ report that the couple had already sent out art-deco themed 'save the date' cards to their friends and family.

While the details were brief, the card notes that a formal invite was to follow. 

The couple had chosen an elegant design from the 30s for their invite, choosing a Gatsby-style grey and gold colour scheme.

Luke's fiancée broke her silence over the loss of her love over the weekend.

In a statement to People published Saturday, the 44-year-old said: 'I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support 

'The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke's generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time.

'The past 11 and a half years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him.

Luke's will left all the actor's assets to his kids Jack, 21, and Sophie, 18 from his marriage to Rachel Minnie Sharp. 

According to a recent report, the family of the 90210 actor plans to have him buried at the famed Forest Law Cemetery.

A source told RadarOnline that the family wants 'to honour him like the icon he is and they are hoping to have a service that will reflect that.' 

The insider went on to explain that the Perry family is hoping Luke's industry friends would be in attendance, as that is what he would have wanted. 

According to the source, 'They want it to be a grand sending-off and they want fans to have the opportunity to visit him and pay their respects.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
