She won critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic for her portrayal of ruthless assassin Villanelle in Killing Eve.
But Jodie Comer has now revealed the second season of the cat-and-mouse drama 'may not be what [viewers] think it's going to be' when it airs on BBC America next month.
Meeting with ELLE ahead of the show's highly-anticipated release, the Liverpudlian actress posed in flamboyant lace gowns for the magazine's April issue.
Graceful: Jodie Comer has revealed the second season of the cat-and-mouse drama 'won't be what [viewers] think it's going to be'
And the 26-year-old took the time to open up about her merciless character, the new series, and reveal how she spends her time when she's not filming.
'It may not be what [viewers] think it's going to be,' she said of the upcoming episodes. 'But that's all I can say.'
The actress also revealed some personal insights on the globetrotting assassin Villanelle, who spent the last series being hunted by MI5 security officer Eve Polastri - played by Sandra Oh.

She said: 'I've always said she probably watches a lot of reality television.
'I think she's fascinated by people, but the way she reacts to situations isn’t necessarily normal.'
Phoebe Waller-Bridge's drama won mass critical acclaim last year, with Sandra Oh taking home a Golden Globe for her performance in the series.
The show, which airs its second season on April 7, stars Jodie as a ruthless assassin and Sandra as an MI5 officer as the pair are caught in a charged game of cat-and-mouse.
Stunning: 'It may not be what [viewers] think it's going to be,' Jodie said of the upcoming episodes. 'But that's all I can say'
But after the show's immense success, Jodie said she sometimes has to 'lock herself away' to get out of the spotlight.
'It can be intense, always having eyes on you,' she said.
'Sometimes I'll lock myself away and just go into a bubble. And then I have to go home and catch up on life.'
A minute-long clip teasing the second series was released on Friday - and it showed Villanelle scream at a social media influencer to 'get a real job'.
Dark: Writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge said the show's second series, which is set to air on BBC America on April 7, will show 'hardly any gruesomeness'
Tense: 'BBC America, the original channel, said we couldn't have that much blood on show, we couldn't be too grotesque,' Phoebe said
The assassin then continued her love for costumes and disguises as she dressed up as a pig in the trailer, and persisted in her quest to outrun Eve, who repeatedly insists there are 'no feelings' between them.
Dubbed to Betty Hutton's iconic hit It's Oh So Quiet - the trailer kicks off with an echoing Villanelle narrating: 'Sometimes when you love someone you will do crazy things.'
As the trailer then cuts to Eve it sets the stage for the season's new plot, with the MI5 officer desperately trying to track down Villanelle after stabbing her in the Season One Finale.

Last month, Jodie revealed what fans can expect from the assassin in the new season, and she and co-star Sandra attended the Television Critics Associate BBC America/AMC panel.
On the show's opening scenes she said: 'We see Villanelle in a completely different way. She has no control of the situation.'
Jodie also explained that Villanelle's wardrobe will see a drastic shift as her character develops from the murderous psychopathic free to roam Europe of episodes old.
'You see her in a completely new, vulnerable setting, and her clothes are completely different… You’ll see, when she moves out of that vulnerable setting, how much her clothing means to her,' she added.
A UK air date for the second season of Killing Eve is yet to be announced.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
