«Breaking News» Johnny Manziel's wife hits out at Instagram trolls for accusing her of trying to take his money

The wife of notoriously troubled football professional Johnny Manziel has spoken out about their split on her Instagram page as she hit out at trolls accusing her of trying to take his money. 

Bre Tiesi removed the last name 'Manziel' from her bio and deleted all images of her newly-signed Alliance of American Football (AAF) player husband last Thursday.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the erasure, which followed Manziel deleting his own Instagram page after an unceremonious exit from the Montreal Alouettes for violating unspecified terms of his contract. 

But on Sunday, Tiesi clapped back at a few Instagram users who accused her of going after Manziel's money under a photo she shared on Friday while she was in Bali, Indonesia. 

'u been married? U been betrayed? I don't do betrayal for a person I was devoted to period. Vows were broken f**k money and f**k u and every other loser on here,' Tiesi replied to one user.

In another exchange, the model wrote that people should 'wonder why I would leave him instead of worrying about "money" lucky for him I don't air out personals and lucky for u you are behind a screen u low life'.

Tiesi responded to a few other Instagram users, saying that they are 'stupid' for 'insinuating I wanted his "money"'.

Manziel, who credited Tiesi with pulling him out of the downward spiral that got him cut from the NFL's Cleveland Browns in 2015, recently landed with the AAF's Memphis Express after being banned from joining any Canadian Football League (CFL) club for violating terms of his contract. 

Tiesi, who secretly married Manziel at a California courthouse in March of 2018, removed all photos and any mention of Manziel from her Instagram profile leading up to Thursday night. 

She has been in Bali for a girls' trip, and according to her social media page. 

To be fair, Manziel recently removed himself from his own Instagram page, as well, by completely deleting it, following being cut from the Alouettes.

Neither the Alouettes or the CFL revealed the exact reason the contract was terminated.

In a statement, Montreal general manager Kavis Reed alluded to an agreement that was violated by Manziel, who previously had publicly battled with drugs and alcohol before announcing that he has bipolar disorder. 

'We are disappointed by this turn of events,' Reed said in the statement. 

'Johnny was provided a great deal of support by our organization, in collaboration with the CFL, but he has been unable to abide by the terms of his agreement. 

'We worked with the league and presented alternatives to Johnny, who was unwilling to proceed.' 

The troubled former NFL star signed the AAF's standard player agreement, ESPN's Adam Schefter said on Twitter last week.

Manziel later confirmed the news and thanked the Canadian league's fans, his former coach and teammates for helping him reignite his passion for football.

'My time there reestablished my love for the game of football and the work that goes into it,' Manziel tweeted. 'I look forward to exploring new options within the United States.'

Manziel has struggled to make his mark in pro football since washing out of the NFL following two underwhelming seasons with the Cleveland Browns in 2014 and 2015. 

AAF chairman Tom Dundon told USA Today Sports that his league had been in contact with Manziel's camp since the 26-year-old quarterback was released and banned from the CFL for undisclosed reasons on March 13.

The AAF is a new spring football league, which has its games broadcast on CBS.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
