«Breaking News» Jessica Simpson welcomes her third child as she gives birth to daughter Birdie

Jessica Simpson has welcomed her third child, daughter Birdie. 

The actress turned fashion designer and her husband Eric Johnson celebrated the arrival in Los Angeles, according to a report on The Blast. 

The website reported that the 38-year-old was surrounded by her family, including her husband and father Joe Simpson.

The baby joins big siblings, daughter Maxwell, six, and son Ace, five.

An insider told Entertainment Tonight this week that the star was ready to meet her new arrival.

'Jessica is definitely uncomfortable. This has been a tough pregnancy but she knows it will all be worth it when she's holding that little baby. Her hospital bags are packed. Everyone is trying to be patient, but the family is so excited and counting the minutes until the baby is here.'

The Blonde Ambition star posted a picture of her burgeoning baby bump on social media this week, which showed she was ready to give birth any day.

And the 38-year-old isn't having an easy time of it, variously battling insomnia, severe acid reflux, bronchitis, back pain and anxiety.

Meanwhile, Jessica previously admitted she 'doesn't understand' how she got pregnant again.

She admitted: 'I thought about [having another baby], but I didn't really know that it could actually happen. We definitely always love to practice. We actually weren't practicing very much that month so I don't understand. We try [to figure it out]. This might be a miracle baby.'

But despite her confusion over the impending arrival, her children are 'so excited' to be a big brother and big sister.

She added: 'They're so excited because they're only fourteen months apart, so they didn't get to experience the excitement of each other. But when I told them that we're having another baby, I know that they'll remember that for the rest of their lives. They are most excited about learning how to do the swaddle. Maxwell, my daughter is just so happy that it's a girl. They ask me the craziest questions that I can't say on TV ... 'How does the baby come out?' 'Where does the milk come from, I don't understand!' I'm a little bit too honest, and Eric's like, 'I don't think we need to give out ALL the information, Jessica. So, I'm scaring my kids, I think.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
