«Breaking News» Jenny Mollen goes on 'rant' over children snacking on bagels and raisins

She's gained quite the following with her Dictator Lunches Instagram account, sharing pictures of the lavish themed meals she sends to school for her children. 


And now Jenny Mollen is used her Instagram account to address the sugar-laden snacks she sees her fellow parents feeding their offspring. 


In a self-described 'rant' the 39-year-old author and actress, who shares two sons with Orange Is The New Black's Jason Biggs, took particular exception to bagels and raisins.


'It's because it's all sugar! I can't handle it. Why does everyone just feed children sugar? I don't f***ing understand,' Jenny said.

She had explained that she: 'Just left a meeting where I was talking about children's lunches and why I'm so distraught when I don't make Sid's lunch and he goes to school with a bagel and cream cheese.'


The author two hit books of comic essays recalled: 'Even when I went on tours of schools, New York private schools, and they're giving kids like raisins as a snack.'

Jenny insisted: 'Raisins are all sugar' and revealed: 'I'm on a rant about this this morning, because I plan to take action.'


The Angel alumna dished: 'I think I need to do something about this. I'm formulating a plan, but I just want you guys to know that that's where I'm at emotionally.'

Later in her Insta Story, she shared a screen-grab of a private message she received saying her 'comments are a bit short sighted.'


The messager wrote in part: 'I 100% agree that we feed our kids way too much sugar and processed foods, but at the same time many parents struggle with: non-flexible and demanding work schedules, limited grocery budgets, no access to fresh foods/ingredients and lack of consistent or solid childcare.' 


Replied Jenny: 'I agree and this is why I am upset! Processed food shouldn't be anyone's only option. 


'There is a problem in this country that doesn't exist in other parts of the world.


'Everyone deserves access to fresh food! I am not suggesting anybody spend all day making their kids meals. I am talking about a major flaw within the system'.

Jenny and Jason co-starred in My Best Friend's Girl and married in 2008, eloping a month after she suffered a miscarriage.


She gave birth to their son Sid in 2014, and in 2017 they welcomed Laszlo after announcing the pregnancy in an Instagram ad for a Fridababy nasal aspirator.

The Live Fast Die Hot author frequently posts to social media. She sparked concern when she shared a photo of her worryingly thin body a year ago, explaining that she was experiencing distressing symptoms possibly related to Graves' disease.


She was later diagnosed with hyperthyroidism after losing a worrying amount of weight and shedding her hair.


Jenny was put on medication to slowdown her overproduction of thyroid hormones, and she reported in June that her thyroid condition had drastically improved.


According to the star, she gained 15 pounds in four weeks.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
