One of the most fashionable parties in Paris this week wasn't on the official Couture Week schedule.
Rather, it was British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful's 47th birthday party, hosted by supermodel Karlie Kloss and Moda Operandi co-founder Lauren Santo Domingo at Lauren's very own palatial Paris home.
The star-studded event was packed with famous face from modeling, music, Hollywood, and of course, the fashion world, with many of the most stylish people on the planet showing up to fete the Vogue boss.

The party was clearly a very exclusive invite. While plenty of stars have been in Paris for the couture shows, only a lucky group was invited to help Edward ring in his birthday.
Among them were a handful of supermodels. Along with co-host Karlie — who looked chic in a black jumpsuit and tuxedo-style blazer — were both of the Hadid sisters.
Gigi came dressed in a long yellow sweater and green printed pants, while Bella wore her own printed ensemble.
Also there was Naomi Campbell in black, Karen Elson, Sabrina Dhowre (who is engaged to Idris Elba), Natalia Vodianova, Farida Khelfa, Francesca Summers, Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber, and Doutzen Kroes in a gorgeous sequined floral mini.
Famous designers turned up too, including Pierpaolo Piccioli, Giambattista Valli, Virgil Abloh, and Gelila Assefa Puck.

Janelle Monáe walked in in a cool gray suit and white shoes, while other stars roaming around included Justin Theroux, Chloe Sevigny, Amber Valletta, Viscountess Emma Weymouth, Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung, Grace Coddington, Luka Sabbat, and Harley Viera-Newton.
Naturally, there were other fashion editors there too, including Vogue Paris editor Emmanuel Alt and W Magazine Style Director Sara Moonves (daughter of Les Moonves).
But the guest of honor, as far as unofficial videographer Derek Blasberg was concerned, was a drag queen dressed impeccably as the Queen of England in a pink suit and matching hat. She popped out of a giant cake that was 'blazing in sparklers.'
Drag queen Joanna Bumme, who played Queen Elizabeth for the night, was the winner of Cardiff’s favorite drag queen in 2017.

The party certainly appears to have been fit for a queen, especially with the gorgeous and luxurious setting that is Lauren Santo Domingo's enormous home — which itself has been featured in Vogue.
The duplex sits above her husband's parents' apartment, and seemed 'very bougie' to Lauren when she first laid eyes on it.
'The rooms seemed so grand and overscale. It was daunting, it was impractical, but it was impossible not to see the potential,' she said.
It has a terrace, a garden, a library, and plenty of expensive furniture and decor, which guests at the party enjoyed.
They also drank wine and ate caviar, which was served in ceramic bowls shaped like baked potatoes.
According to Derek, it was Kaia Gerber and Francesca Summers' first time eating it, and they seemed to enjoy the delicacy.

At one point, Karlie and Derek brought out two cakes — one for Edward, and one for Lauren, whose birthday just passed — and the whole crowd sang 'Happy Birthday.'
Derek explained in a piece for British Vogue that the party wasn't held around his actual birthday because everyone was too busy with Milan Fashion Week. At the time, Donatella Versace threw him a party.
He also shared some special stories of how he and the hosts had first met Edward.
'Everyone in the fashion world met Edward Enninful a different way,' he said. 'I met him when I was a sophomore at university and doing a year at the University College of London.
'Karlie Kloss met him when she was a freshman in high school during her first season as a new model.
'Lauren Santo Domingo met him as a junior fashion editor at American Vogue. She remembers her desk was near his and he was always good for career advice — and a few cups of hot tea.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
