«Breaking News» High school student is taken into custody for fighting with a police officer in the cafeteria

A Virginia high school student was taken into custody after he got into a fist fight with a police officer in his school's cafeteria, after he was ordered to the main office and refused to go.  

The brawl took place on Thursday during lunch time shortly after 1pm at Dominion High School in Loudoun County, Virginia in front of students and staff.

The male student had been told to go to the school's office as he was in the lunchroom but rebuffed an administrator's attempts to take him in. 

When the school's resource officer tried to take the student to the office himself, the teenager threw punches in protest.

The fist fight brawl took place on Thursday around 1pm in the school's cafeteria after the student was ordered to go to the main office but refused to listen

School officials say that the administrator and school resource officer made multiple attempts to calm down the student before the fight fight broke out.   

The shocking video shows the student throws the first punches, aiming right for the resource officer's face, causing the officer to lose his balance and hit the cafeteria doors.  

The student continues to flail his arms at the officer who punches back right in the student's face and pushes him backwards. 

All the while students in the lunchroom are heard shouting and yelling, shocked with the fight.

Finally the officer calmed down the student by grabbing a hold of his arms. The student faces felony charges of obstruction of justice by force and assault on a law enforcement officer

The student keeps throwing punches until the officer grabs a hold of both of his arms and another administrator is seen approaching. 

Video of the fight has gone viral, racking up over 100,000 views on World Star. 

The officer 'defended himself while taking the student into custody,' according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's office. 

After the fight the deputy was taken to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries. 

The student refused medical treatment and instead was taken to the Loudoun Juvenile Detention Center. 

The incident took place here at Dominion High School in Loudoun County, Virginia

He faces felony charges of obstruction of justice by force and assault on a law enforcement officer and three misdemeanor charges of assault on a school official, disorderly conduct and destruction of property.

Authorities say they'll conduct an investigation to understand what triggered the fight. 

Dominion High School Principal John Brewer sent an email to parents following the incident saying the school officer was assaulted by a student. 

'Earlier today, our SRO was assaulted by a Dominion High School student. The assault occurred during lunch in the cafeteria. Many of our students witnessed it. Because this matter involves possible action by law enforcement, I cannot offer further details. I am reaching out to ask you to remind your student to be respectful of school staff at all times,' the statement said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
