«Breaking News» Dr Pimple Popper squeezes 'cheesy warm grits' out of a man's golf ball-shaped head cyst

A man who has been living with a huge, golf ball-shaped lump on the side of his head for nearly two decades has had the 'egg yolk' contents removed by the one and only Dr Pimple Popper.

Josh, 36, from Georgia, has the large epidermoid cyst on the right side of his forehead as a result of a car crash he was involved in 18 years ago.

In the brand new episode of the TLC show, the embarrassed father finally receives the life-changing treatment he's been waiting for - in the shape of Dr Sandra Lee, who gamely slices open the enormous lump and squeezes out the contents.

But not without providing her viewers with some colorful commentary in the process.

'Are you ready for a nice squeeze everybody? Get in your places,' she says, as a revolting flood of yellow pus comes flooding out. 'It's kind of exciting - oh, but it's cute. Argh, it's warm. It's like warm grits.'

Josh suspects that his bump is the result of injuries he suffered in the crash during his late teens.

'When I was 19, I had a head-on car wreck,' he explains.'I cracked my cheek bone, I broke my jaw, I broke my femur in two places and I shattered my knee cap.'

'They pronounced me dead on arrival. The knot comes from where I smacked my face against the windshield.'

He adds: 'My knot started when it was probably about marble size, and it has gotten bigger. To me it looks like when you cut a golf ball in half and stick in on the side of your head. It's soft and mushy, and I can move it around. But it doesn't hurt.'

In tonight's gruesome episode, Josh reveals his lump started off as marble sized, but explains  that it just continued to grow to the shape of a golf ball

Having lived with his growth for nearly two decades, Josh admits that he often feels paranoid and held back by his head bump.

Felling uncomfortable being out in public, he hopes Dr Sandra Lee will be able to remove his knot so that he can take his family out to dinner again without feeling humiliated or embarrassing his kids.

'Sometimes I do feel like I'm handicapped with it,' he says. 'It's really hard on a lot of days. It's made my confidence level go way down, and I don't like that. When I go out in public, I just feel like everybody is looking at me. If Dr Sandra Lee can't do anything with it I might get an eyeball tattooed on it.

Upon initial inspection, Dr Lee has her suspicions that Josh's head bump is a monster cyst: 'Sometimes cysts can be caused by trauma, like a car accident...maybe a cyst formed after this surgery he had?' she explains.

'The skin gets trapped underneath, and so now instead of skin shedding off into the environment, it's shedding off underneath [his skin] creating a sack, creating a cyst.'

What is an epidermoid cyst?

- They are common and grow slowly

 - The cysts are often found on the face, head, neck, back, or genitals

- They can range in size from 1/4 inch to 2 inches across

They look like a small bump, are tan to yellow in color, and are filled with thick, smelly matter

Rushing Josh straight into her operating theatre, the expert's suspicions are confirmed when she cuts into and squeezes the bump, revealing a grim stream of yellow pus.

'It's an epidermoid cyst but this one is a little different because the wall of the cyst feels different - probably because of the trauma of the car accident.'

Once the 18-year-old contents, made up of 'wet skin cells,' has been removed, Josh agrees: 'That's nasty. It's like cheesy grits.'

But once the big reveal has taken place, a once embarrassed Josh is delighted with his new head.

'Looking in the mirror, it shocked me,' he says. 'I can't wait to get home and show my wife and my daughter my new head.'

Dr. Pimple Popper airs tonight at 9pm on TLC

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
