Earlier in the week it was a will she/won't she situation where Gemma Collins was concerned.
The TOWIE star was set to return for the Dancing On Ice grand finale on Sunday to join all the ex-contestants for one last spin on the rink, but her ongoing tiff with judge Jason Gardiner had thrown this into doubt.
Yet Gemma threw on the sequins for one last time and indeed appeared on the show as promised - but failed to actually skate.
Lackluster! Gemma Collins threw on the sequins for one last time and appeared on the rink for the Dancing On Ice finale as promised - but failed to actually skate
Viewers were left enraged when Gemma and her pro partner Matt Evers appeared on the rink under a giant 'GC' sign, yet barely moved a muscle.
Stood on the spot, Gemma was seen giving a shimmy before getting onto her knees, rolling over, letting Matt skate over her head and... not do much else.
The final kicked off on Sunday night with Phillip Schofield fueling the speculative flames around finalists Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer's off-the-ice relationship.
Skate? Off! Viewers were left enraged when Gemma and her pro partner Matt Evers appeared on the rink under a giant 'GC' sign, yet barely moved a muscle
After a tumultuous few weeks on the show - which has seen Wes split from his former Love Island co-star Megan Barton Hanson amid rumours she was jealous of Vanessa - Phillip introduced their first routine of the night with a slathering of innuendo.
'Would you like to see them pump it?' the presenter asked co-host Holly Willoughby.

Holly replied, tentatively: 'As long as that’s the name of the song they’re dancing to!'
'Yes. It is,' Phillip replied with a twinkle in his eye.
Indeed, Wes and Vanessa then put on a raunchy, Lycra-clad routine to Pump It by the Black Eyed Peas - which helped them sail through to perform the Bolero against James Jordan and his partner Alexandra Schauman, knocking Saara Aalto and Hamis Gaman out of the competition in the process.
Wes was sure to flex his physique in a skimpy red sports vest, while Vanessa showcased her own athletic frame in a a sports bra and skinny leggings.
Their efforts impressed the judges, with each of them awarding them 10/10, giving them a perfect score.
Jason Gardiner declared that he was able to just 'sit back and perv on them both' when they put on such a seamless performance.

Suggestive: 'Would you like to see them pump it?' Phillip asked co-host Holly Willoughby
Despite this, Vanessa hit back at suggestions she and the Love Island star had enjoyed a fling earlier on in the competition by taking to her Instagram hours earlier on Sunday to claim the reports were 'a lie'.
The pair took to the ice for their second routine - this time a Peter Pan and Wendy-themed routine - landing them a second 40/40.
'This is the best night of my life!' Wes declared, hugging tightly onto Vanessa, who gushed about how far he had come in the competition.
The reality star also admitted that during the headbanging move in their routine - which saw him swing Vanessa around repeatedly - his wrist bone 'popped out'.
Oh my! Jason Gardiner declared that he was able to just 'sit back and perv on them both' when they put on such a seamless performance
Let's get physical: Wes was sure to flex his physique in a skimpy red sports vest
'Oh well, it is what it is!' Wes laughed as a concerned Holly watched on and Phillip pretended to throw up.
Earlier in the day he had complained of similar injuries, taking to Instagram to show his bandaged wrist, admitting he was 'bricking it' ahead of the finale.
Meanwhile, fellow-finalist James had also been sent off to the physiotherapist for treatment on his shoulders.
He took to the ice with his partner Alexandra and managed to score 39/40, with Jason and Ashley Banjo knocking off 0.5 from their scores due to a 'lack of sparkle'.
Jubilant! The duo were thrilled with their 80/80 overall score, hugging each other excitedly as the scores were read out
Holly was sure to remind them that James had suffered an injury, but the ex-Strictly Come Dancing pro quickly asked that they didn't dwell on it.
During their second performance, head judge Christopher Dean insisted he wished there had been an '11 button' - with all four judges (including Jayne Torvill) awarding the pair 10/10.
Saara and Hamish received 40/40 for both their first and second routines, with Hamish seen to get emotional in the pair's final VT as they watched clips back from the 2019 season.
'I've also made a friend!' Hamish said through tears, as Saara branded him 'so cute!'
Repeating their Puppet On A String dance from a few weeks ago as their second routine, Saara and Hamish were give high praise from notoriously harsh critic Jason.
'This was the most memorable routine of Dancing On Ice... ever!' he gushed.
Yet Saara and Hamish were knocked out of the competition at the last hurdle, leaving Wes and James as the last two celebrities standing, skating the Bolero in the style of Torvill and Dean circa 1984.
When it came to the Bolero, the judges gushes over Wes and Vanessa, with Christopher telling them he was 'so proud' of them, Jayne noting that there was 'no tricks... just passion' and Ashley commending Wes for being 'a hard-working young man'.
Vanessa was seen to become emotional as Holly reminded them that they would not be skating again, with Wes' father in the audience fighting back tears as he applauded his son.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
