«Breaking News» Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly plan to eat 10k CALORIES during 24-hour Dance-a-thon

They're about to embark on a constant 24-hours of dancing, to raise money for Comic Relief.


And Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly have revealed that over the next day they aim to consume 10k calories in order to keep their strength up.


Appearing on The One Show before kicking off the challenge, the Strictly Come Dancing hostesses revealed that pasta, sweets and chocolate will be eaten as they bust their moves for charity.

Chatting to One Show hosts Matt Baker and Alex Jones - as well as fellow guest Mary Berry - they also revealed that they have spent the day leading up to the challenge lying down.


'We eat while we dance,' Claudia revealed. 


'How many calories are you having?' TV chef Mary inquired.

It was also explained that the ladies will be given toilet breaks every hour of four minutes.


They kicked things off live on the show, which was transmitted at the same time on BBC Radio 2.


'I am feeling slightly wobbly!' Claudia admitted, and showed off one move, after which she revealed that her knee clicked whilst doing it.


The Dance-a-thon began to Beyoncé's Crazy In Love and will continue until Tuesday evening, during which time Tess and Claudia will dance to hits from the last six decades.


There will be special guests popping in to support them throughout the challenge and it will be cataloged on Radio 2.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
