«Breaking News» Cheltenham Festival racegoers flash their legs as they prepare to party on St Patrick's Thursday

The Guinness will be flowing at Cheltenham today as St Patrick's Thursday sees racegoers have a craic at getting into the Irish party spirit.

Fashionistas have battled against gale force winds all week, with many revellers clinging to their hats and clothing as they entered the race track.

Today's weather looks to be a little calmer, with morning showers giving way to cloudy skies and a wind speed of around 20mph.

Stylish revellers were out in force for Ladies Day yesterday, which offered up a sea of daringly short skirts and plunging necklines.

Day two of the competition saw the return of the #ColourMeMarch competition, where for the first time male as well as female racegoers were encouraged to add a splash of colour to their outfits.

Punters today will be eager to see if Paisley Park will romp to victory in the Sun Racing Stayers' Hurdle.

Two years ago the race horse, owned by former shop steward Andrew Gemmell who has been blind since birth, nearly died from a serious illness.

But the seven-year-old made a miraculous recovery and has gone on to win all four of his races this season, including Grade One successes at Ascot and Cheltenham.

It’s been a right royal affair at this years Cheltenham Festival so far with Princess Anne and the Duchess of Cornwall making an appearance, but one royal guest who is making the most of this year's event is Zara Tindall.

She’s been spotted at the races every day, and with each one, she’s provided us with some regal inspiration. Today, she’s opted for a more classic approach by wearing a grey coat by Pip Howeson, which she styled with the 'Cordelia' hat by Bundle MacLaren.

The ‘Scallop’ coat is a great option for such a prestigious event, and with the fit and flare silhouette, it’s tailored to flatter the figure effortlessly.

It’s a statement piece in its own right and a timeless one at that, so if you’ve got the cash to splash then copy Zara and click the image to buy her coat.

Alternatively, peruse our edit of picks from Great Plains, Mint Velvet and Reiss, which will no doubt have you catching everyone's attention.

Racing fans will be hoping Gemmell, who relies on radio commentaries and tannoys for racing updates, and trainer Emma Lavelle get their fairytale ending in today's Stayers' Hurdle.

On Day One, Espoir D'Allen, rode by jockey Mark Walsh, defied the odds to beat favourite and two-time winner Buveur D'Air to take gold in the Champion Hurdle.

And there was a photo-finish yesterday in the Coral Cup Hurdle, with Altior clinching the win over Sceau Royal by a whisker.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
