«Breaking News» Check him out! Jaden Smith commands attention in a Woolworths uniform

He's been hosting club openings and hitting up the Grand Prix since landing in Melbourne on Thursday.

But no one could have predicted Jaden Smith would also pull in a shift as a Woolworths shop assistant during his time Down Under. 

Donning the supermarket chain's distinctive uniform, the 20 year-old son of megastar Will Smith stunned fans and delighted shoppers on Sunday as he manned a bespoke checkout.

Wearing a Woolie's lanyard and a button-up shirt, he added his own edgy take to the look with stylish jeans boasting elaborate floral detail and retro pink glasses. 

Promoting JUST Water, which is fully recyclable and made from 82 per cent renewable resources, the new product will  be launched at Woolworths and 7-Eleven this week.

But taking to Instagram on Sunday, the Karate Kid star appeared somewhat rusty at his new responsibilities as he got to grips with scanning the water bottles.

Fighting his first day jitters on the supermarket shop floor, Jaden limbered up while telling the camera 'I feel like I need to come out of my shell a little.'

But he seemed more at home educating a young customer about the benefits of his product.

'It's 82 per cent renewable resources - it's not based on petroleum-based products,' he proudly explained.

And he showcased his quirky style in a hooded jumper with floral trousers as he arrived at Channel Ten's studios to appear on The Project on Friday. 

Jaden then told host Waleed Aly his father is a 'super cool dad.' 

He has also admitted that even he finds some of his fashion choices a bit strange. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph the young rapper said: '[My style] is crazy. Avant-garde in a way. Sometimes I shave half of my head. I'm so confused by myself.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
