«Breaking News» Boy, 4, and his grandparents survive after their plane crashed in the yard of a police officer

A toddler and his grandparents miraculously survived a terrifying plane crash, when their single-engine aircraft plummeted into the yard of a local police officer on Tuesday.

Michael Stodard, 62, and his wife Angel, 61, were flying in a 1976 Piper PA-32 Cherokee Lance with their four-year-old grandson from Alabama to Cahokia when an engine light switched on in the plane's cabin over Waterloo.

In a conversation with authorities, Angel said that oil had suddenly begun spewing onto the aircraft's windscreen and the couple could no longer see where they were going.

She also believed the engine may have cut-out entirely, but she couldn't be sure in the panic.

The plane then began spiraling towards the ground, according to eyewitnesses, before clipping the top of a tree on its descent.

The aircraft came to a sickening smash on it's roof in the garden of Waterloo Police Sergeant, Trin Daws, on Tuesday afternoon.

Daws, along with another man, was altered to the scene after hearing the screams of a young boy coming from outside his home.

He had just returned home from work at the time of the crash.

'It was really disturbing to hear a child screaming in there,' Daws told BND. '[We] were in the right place.'

Armed with a fire extinguisher found on the ground nearby, Daws and his unnamed accomplice broke the windows of the dilapidated aircraft to hoist the boy from the wreckage.

He was sitting in a child's car seat inside the plane's crumpled remains.

Angel and Michael were pulled from the plane shortly afterwards.

All were said to be conscious and responsive at the scene, where they were later taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is being carried out by the FAA to determine what caused the plane to suddenly fall from the sky.

'I saw the plane and it looked like it was flying low and gliding,' said Kyle Blanchardto Republic Times, who was driving towards Waterloo at the time.

'It looked like it was trying to land on the road. When we made a left turn on Waterloo Road we could see it upside down right by the road.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
