«Breaking News» Boxer Adrien Broner is handcuffed after yelling at police in South Beach

Boxer Adrien Broner had yet another brush with the law after he confronted a driver who honked at him for jaywalking and then screamed at police officers attempting to defuse the situation.

TMZ reported that Broner was walking with fellow boxer Gervonta Davis in South Beach on Saturday evening when a driver honked at him for crossing in the middle of a busy street.

Witnesses said the boxer lost his temper and slapped the hood of the car while yelling at the driver.

Police officers intervened and warned Broner that he would be arrested if he didn't back off, at which point he reportedly redirected the anger toward them.

The officers ultimately put him in handcuffs until he calmed down, but he was not arrested.

Later that night Broner was seen blowing off steam at the Exchange Miami nightclub, where fellow revelers said he jumped on the stage and showed off his dance moves.

Broner's outburst came four days after he unleashed a vile homophobic rant on his Instagram story on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old made the vile comments after calling out a man for allegedly messaging him on Instagram.

'If any f** punk a** n***** come run up on me, trying to touch me on all that gay s***,' he said in a video on Instagram.

'I'm letting you know right now, if I ain't got my gun on me, I'm knocking you the f*** out.

'If I've got my gun on me, I'm shooting you in the f****** face. That's on God. I ain't playing with none of these n******. I don't want that gay s***.'

Broner, who had sexual battery charges stemming from an incident in February 2018 dropped earlier this month, has had numerous run-ins with authorities during his controversy-ridden career.

His boxing career has stalled, meanwhile, with his last outing coming in January, when he was handily beaten by Manny Pacquiao.

It's claimed that Broner was issued with an arrest warrant just days after that defeat in Las Vegas. Police in Florida were looking for him for the third time after he failed to turn up to court following a speeding incident dating back to December 2017.

He was originally arrested, it's reported, for speeding, having no licence, no registration or no proof of insurance.

A native of Cincinnati, Broner was once tipped as the heir to Floyd Mayweather's throne. But the flashy boxer has seen his career stutter over the past few years as his misdemeanors outside the ring caught up with him.

The five-foot-eight welterweight, who started his career with 26 straight wins, has won none of his past three fights and has fought only five times since 2015.

In 2016, Broner was cited for misdemeanor battery after allegedly choking a waitress in Las Vegas.

In October of that year, Broner scared his fans with some alarming Instagram posts that seemed to hint he was considering suicide.

In September of 2017, the boxer was recorded knocking a man out and shoving a woman in Las Vegas.

Also in 2017, he was arrested for missing a court appearance connected to a 2014 disorderly conduct and public intoxication arrest. During that arrest, police noticed that Broner’s SUV had several bullet holes around the exterior.

In February 2018, Broner was accused of groping a woman at a shopping mall in Atlanta. Those charges were dismissed on March 17.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
