«Breaking News» Unlucky grandfather, 90, accidentally eats a quart of PAINT after mistaking it for yogurt

A larger than life nonagenarian became a viral sensation on Friday after his granddaughter shared that he had accidentally mistaken a quart of paint for yogurt. 

Alex Stein shared the photo of her grandfather, 90-year-old Bobby, with mint green lips. She also included a photo of the paint, showing that some of its contents were no more. 

'Sooo my grandpa ate half a quart of paint today thinking it was yogurt,' she said in the Friday post that has garnered more than 333,000 likes on Twitter.

'Sooo my grandpa ate half a quart of paint today thinking it was yogurt,' she said

The New York resident would later post a screengrab showing a video chat between her and Bobby, where she said that 'his stomach's completely unfazed.' 

'When I say he loves yogurt, he LIVES for yogurt,' Stein explained to the DailyMail.com. 'My mom buys at least 7 quarts of vanilla Danon yogurt a week.' 

Stein's comment section under the post was inundated with various flavors people assumed the vibrant man thought he was eating. 

Mint chocolate chip and pistachio - or painstachio as it was referred to repeatedly on Twitter - were the two flavors that were the most commonly mentioned.

Stein added: 'My grandpa has always loved entertaining people. He doesn't care whether ppl are laughing with him or at him.' 

Bobby is full of personality and is often depicted on social media, living his life full of excitement and silly antics. 

His Instagram page describes him as being, '90 years young..Single & reDy to mingle. Paul McCartney doppelgänger. Hobbies include talking about Tom Brady, dancing shirtless, and making messes!'

Sharing the screengrab of their video chat on his own page, Bobby was very aware of his newfound fame and explained his side of the events. 

'Apparently I ate paint this morning...s**t honestly tastes better than yogurt sooo #no #regrets (poison control laughed at me, but they said I’ll be fine),' he said in the post.

The man's social media account features numerous wild videos filled with Bobby's wild energy.

According to the National Capital Poison Center, water-based paint can cause vomiting if eaten in large quantities. Some do contain man-made or natural pigments like cobalt or cadmium, which can be harmful to the body.

Oil-based paints contain extremely poisonous solvents and are dangerous for the body if consumed.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
