Less than a day after Trump talked about not having the time to own a dog, he retweeted an adorable video of 'beautiful and magnificent' big cats snuggling.
The video, originally posted by the account Planet Pics, shows a spotted jaguar snuggling with a black jaguar with the caption, 'They are soooo beautiful and magnificent!'
The retweet by the president had some on Twitter speculating that Trump was attempting to show the world his sensitive side toward animals after taking a shot at President Obama for owning a dog at Monday night's rally in El Paso, Texas.
Others pointed out his sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr's history with hunting big game, posting a 2012 image of the pair holding a dead leopard they killed on a trip to Zimbabwe.

When he moved into the White House in 2016, Trump became the first president not to have a pet dog in 130 years.
And during the rally in El Paso, Trump appeared to finally reveal why - while taking a swipe at Barack Obama.
'I wouldn't mind having one, honestly, but I don't have any time,' Trump told the crowd.
'How would I look walking a dog on the White House lawn? Would that be right? It doesn't. It feels a little phony to me.'
'A lot of people say, "Oh, you should get a dog." Why? "It's good politically,"' Trump continued.
'I said, "Look, that's not the relationship I have with my people.'"
A person in the crowd then pointed out that Obama had a dog while he was president.
'Yeah! Obama had a dog. You are right,' Trump remarked as he and the crowd laughed.
The retweet came after his rally Monday night where he took a shot at President Obama

Actress Mia Farrow was one of the first to bring up the president's sons past as hunters.
'Peculiar RT from @realDonaldTrump as these gorgeous creatures are the kind that his soulless sons enjoy killing,' the actress tweeted.
Others replied with the grisly photo showing Don Jr and Eric holding the dead leopard from their 2012 hunting trip to Zimbabwe.
Though the two men denied any wrongdoing at the time and proudly argue that they are hunters, many animal rights advocates took jabs at the pair and continue to do so today.
At the time, Donald Trump told TMZ he doesn't share the same views as is sons.
'My sons love hunting. They're hunters and they've become good at it. I am not a believer in hunting and I'm surprised they like it,' he said.
'I know that anything they did was 100% OK in terms of the hunting community,' he added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
