«Breaking News» Stately home sisters at war over pheasant shooting at their 300-year-old Dorset family estate

Two sisters have become embroiled in a bitter feud over the killing of pheasants at their shared English country home.

Tacky MacGregor, 36, and her older sibling Rags Norton, 40, share the Came Estate, in Dorset, which has been part of their family since 1754.

Ms MacGregor claims her sister is allowing the unethical killing of pheasants on their property. The mother-of-four says their feud came to boiling point on New Year's Eve.

Ms MacGregor and her partner Michael Talbot found a dozen pheasants on a bonfire near the stately home and described it as 'obscene'.

She claims the shoot said all of its birds were going to have their usable meat removed - but that was not the case, she said.

'We were walking the dog and there was this really acid smell, like burning hair,' she told The Times.

She took these photos and uploaded them to Facebook, saying: 'Well, despite the best efforts from pro shooting groups to demonstrate best practice and that birds DO go into the food chain, here is the cold, hard and somewhat difficult to swallow truth... THEY BURN THEM!!'

'Admittedly, not ALL shoots do this, but Came Shoot certainly does. I apologise if people find this offensive and would like to point out that I have NO INVOLVEMENT WHATSOEVER,' she fumed

Ms MacGregor has drafted in police and private security guards who've seized rifles and shotguns from the 1,500-acre estate.

The furious sister said she confronted her elder sibling in a stable block, where they scolded each other in front of their significant others.

Ms MacGregor previously claimed her sister assaulted her - but took it no further when questioned by police, according to The Times.

A spokesman for the Came Shoot said the allegations against Mrs Norton and the hunters were false and part of a 'scurrilous campaign' to harm her reputation. They said the shoot was ran professionally.

Ms MacGregor has now started protesting the shoot at the estate.

Mrs Norton runs the shoots with peasants bread especially for their stately home - while Ms MacGregor lives on the estate and runs the farm.

The Grade I listed Palladian house, located just outside Dorchester in Dorset, is also a popular country wedding venue.

Ms MacGregor has been posting about her infected family feud on social media, sharing pictures of what she claims to be pheasants being thrown on a log fire after a shoot.

'Well, despite the best efforts from pro shooting groups to demonstrate best practice and that birds DO go into the food chain, here is the cold, hard and somewhat difficult to swallow truth... THEY BURN THEM!!!,' she wrote in a furious Facebook post.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
