«Breaking News» Oscars red carpet: Emma Stone wears Louis Vuitton at Academy Awards

She is nominated for best supporting actress for her role as a scheming lady-in-waiting in The Favourite.

And Emma Stone gave a sly nod to her character's cold-blooded ambition at the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles this Sunday.

The 30-year-old, who won a best actress Oscar two years ago for La La Land, slid into a snakeskin gown that British Vogue reports is by Louis Vuitton.

Her smoldering dress featured flared-up epaulets, and she slicked her dark hair tightly down to sweep it into a bun behind her head.

That morning, her fellow best supporting actress nominee Marina De Tavira posted an Instagram snapshot of a sweet letter that Emma sent her.

'Congratulations! Its a huge honor to be nominated alongside you. Have an incredible night!! XOX, Emma Stone,' wrote the Easy A star.

'The honor is all mine #EmmaStone what an incredible way to start the day,' wrote Marina, who is nominated for her work in Alfonso Cuaron's Netflix film Roma.

In her new film, Emma plays Abigail, Baroness Masham, a favorite of Queen Anne, who ruled Britain and Ireland in the early 18th century.

When Abigail burst into the social whirl of the courtly circles, she found herself running up against her predecessor as her Sovereign's favorite, Sarah Churchill.

Sarah, who was Duchess Of Marlborough and an ancestor of Winston Churchill, is played by Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz.

Meanwhile, the Queen is played by Olivia Colman, who is nominated for best actress against Glenn Close, Melissa McCarthy, Yalitza Aparicio and Lady Gaga.

Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the movie sees Sarah and Abigail compete bitterly for Queen Anne's favor, including engaging in lesbian affairs with their head of state.

The 30-year-old, who won a best actress Oscar two years ago...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
