Leah Croucher's family have urged the missing teenager to get in contact
The parents of a 19-year-old woman who has now been missing for a week made an emotional appeal for their 'caring' daughter's safe return today.
Leah Croucher, who works in administration for a finance company, vanished on her way to work in Milton Keynes last Friday and police say her disappearance was out of character.
More than 50 police officers, tracker dogs, a helicopter and the marine unit are looking for her, with at least 4,000 doors knocked in the hunt for clues.
Miss Croucher's parents John and Claire Croucher revealed today she had been looking forward to going on holiday with her family in less than a fortnight.
Mrs Croucher described her daughter as family orientated and as 'a creature of habit who loves home comforts' and she appealed for her safe return today.
She said: 'Leah is a bright, confident and loving 19-year-old. She loves fantasy fiction, both reading and writing and publishing it herself.
'She loves watching DVD boxsets in her room. She doesn't really like pubs or clubbing much and generally come home by 1am at the latest of she does go out.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
