«Breaking News» Gigi Hadid cuts a casually chic figure in a twill overcoat and baggy jeans in Paris

She is one of the world's most in-demand models who has been lighting up catwalks all over the world during fashion week season.

And Gigi Hadid looked casually chic as she arrived at the Prada Store in Paris France on the first day of PFW on Monday.

The Vogue coverstar, 23, wrapped up in a slate grey, orange and cream twill coat which she paired with baggy jeans as she strolled along in the City of Lights.

The beauty layered a pinstripe waistcoat over a green patterned sweater for a splash of colour.

Forgoing the heels before she takes to the catwalk, the star donned black leather boots.

Her caramel flecked tresses were styled in soft waves while a light dusting of make-up accentuated her pretty features.

The star shielded her sparkling peepers from the sun with a pair of futuristic shades. 

Last week Gigi paid her respects to 'King' Karl Lagerfeld at the preview of his final Fendi collection.

Earlier in the week, Gigi had paid tribute to the 85-year-old's 'genius mind' and 'indescribable presence' after his passing in Paris on Tuesday.  

Gigi initially paid tribute to Karl on Instagram on Tuesday, when it was announced that the fashion icon had died, aged 85, following a short illness.

She wrote: 'Karl, I will miss your indescribable presence, watching your calm, quiet genius mind working, your little jokes, amazing stories, and experience the clothes, sets, and productions only you could dream up.'

'Thank you for believing in me and for the beautiful, incredible opportunities you brought to my career, but mostly thank you for giving me the honor of knowing the magic behind the myth.   

'There will never be another Karl Lagerfeld. I am overwhelmed with sadness today, but also with so much love, admiration and gratitude for you.

'To all his beloved friends and colleagues, and his favourite girl Choupette, my heart is with you. Rest in Peace King Karl. I didn't want this day to come.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
