Prominent conservative author Ann Coulter called President Donald Trump 'lazy and incompetent' and warned that he could be challenged in the 2020 Republican primary if he fails to fulfill his promise to build a border wall.
Speaking on the Yahoo News podcast Skullduggery, Coulter said: 'We put this lunatic in the White House for one reason.'
She continued: 'He doesn't need to declare an emergency. I think Trump is gonna do that.
'I think he's finally going to pull that pocket Constitution out of his lapel pocket and [say]: "Oh my gosh, I'm the president. This is great."'

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter called President Donald Trump 'lazy and incompetent' and warned that he could be challenged in the 2020 Republican primary if he fails to fulfill his promise to build a border wall in an interview with Yahoo News podcast Skullduggery
Coulter said on the podcast: 'We put this lunatic in the White House for one reason. He doesn't need to declare an emergency. I think Trump is gonna do that'
Coulter later suggested that should Trump fail to follow through with the proposed wall, another Republican will step up and try to unseat him in the 2020 election.
'I think for sure there’s going to be a primary challenger and it’s not gonna be Jeff Flake,' Coulter said.
She named Alabama Rep Mo Brooks as a strong contender to go up against the president.
'Mo Brooks is terrific. The one who should be the senator from Alabama instead of [Sen] Doug Jones [D-AL], but no Jared-boy [Kushner] said: "Endorse Luther Strange, he’s huge in Alabama."'
Brooks recently delivered a fiery speech on immigration, saying Democratic leaders in Congress have 'American blood' on their hands for refusing to fund the wall.
When asked about reports that the president had unfollowed her on Twitter, Coulter said with a laugh: 'He's still reading me. I can tell. Well, somebody's reading me. They're all reading me over there.'
Coulter refused to comment on her current relationship with the president, remarking: 'That's none of your beeswax.'

Trump gave Coulter the cold shoulder last week, brushing off her influence after she snubbed him as a 'wimp' president for seeming to walk away from a signature campaign promise by reopening the government without funding for the wall.
'I hear she’s become very hostile,' Trump told The Wall Street Journal on Sunday. 'Maybe I didn’t return her phone call or something.'
In a December column, Coulter called Trump a '[g]utless president in wall-less country.'
'Either Trump never intended to build the wall and was scamming voters all along, or he has no idea how to get it done and zero interest in finding out,' she wrote then.
'He's not interested in doing anything that would require the tiniest bit of effort. In the end, we'll probably find out "wall" was Trump's "safe word".'
Trump responded by unfollowing her on Twitter.
Coulter said hours later in a Daily Caller podcast that she had lost patience with his methodical approach to dealing with border security.

Asked if Americans should re-elect the president, Coulter responded: 'Why would you?'
'Trump will just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people, amused the populists for a while, but he’ll have no legacy whatsoever.'
The president turned Fox News Channel reporters John Roberts and Gillian Turner on Sunday, continuing his trend of disowning journalists who have been the most accommodating.
‘Never thought I’d say this but I think @johnrobertsFox and @GillianHTurner @FoxNews have even less understanding of the Wall negotiations than the folks at FAKE NEWS CNN & NBC!’ he tweeted.
'Look to final results! Don’t know how my poll numbers are so good, especially up 19% with Hispanics?'
Roberts filled in for Chris Wallace to host 'Fox News Sunday.' Turner, a foreign policy specialist, was a panelist.
Despite misgivings from his 'Build that wall' base, Trump still appears determined to fulfill his signature campaign promise.
'I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!' he tweeted on Friday.
Coulter appeared on HBO's 'Real Time with Bill Maher' that night, saying she would jump back on the Trump train if the U.S.-Mexico border wall becomes a reality'.
Just keep your promises and I'm right back in your camp,' she said.

Speaking on the Yahoo News podcast Skullduggery, Coulter ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
