«Breaking News» AJ Pritchard sends fans into panic as he reveals he 'doesn't know' whether he'll be on Strictly 2019

AJ Pritchard sent his die-hard fan-base into a tizzy on Wednesday when he casually slipped into conversation on ITV News that he isn't confirmed yet for Strictly Come Dancing 2019.

The dancer, 24, was chatting about the recent announcement that long-running pro Pasha Kovalev has quit the series.

'I was so shocked. It's so sad. I'm going to miss him,' AJ said.

Asked whether he'll be back himself on the 2019 season, AJ admitted that things are unsure.

'I don't know yet, we'll wait and see, hopefully. I'd love to, it's the best job in the world,' he said.

Whether all the dancers' contracts are still up in the air, or just a few of them are unconfirmed, is not known.

Chat moved to AJ's love life, which he has always remained cloak and dagger about.

He said: 'It's interesting to do a little Google to see what people are saying and most of the time it's fiction and made up, which is entertaining on my behalf.'

He has been romantically linked to past dance partners Mollie King and Lauren Steadman, though retrained they are just pals.

Last month he was allegedly seen cosying up to presenter Caroline Flack, who is 15 years his senior - but she has since appeared to strike up a romance with personal trainer Bradley Simmons.

AJ is promoting his new dance tour, Get On The Floor, which sees him take the lead with four other dancers.

AJ has creatively directed the show himself, choreographing it, holding auditions two weeks ago for his co-dancers.

It begins next month and is touring the UK, kicking off on March 3 in Grimsby and concluding in Guildford on March 12.

The show is described as 'a fabulous fusion of styles combinedwith an iconic musical playlist... a high voltage celebration of dance that will leave you on the edge of your seat to the music of pop's biggest party anthems'.

Meanwhile, Pasha has been part of Strictly for eight years, and won the show in 2014 [incidentally with Caroline]. He also met now-girlfriend Rachel Riley on the show in 2013.

The Strictly Twitter account announced the news that he was leaving on Wednesday, posting: 'Sadly after eight incredible series, the brilliant @PashaKovalev has decided to leave #Strictly.

'Pasha, from all of us, thank you for your amazing choreography and routines over the years. You’ll be sorely missed!

'Pasha is an incredibly talented and dedicated dancer who is much loved by his Strictly family and viewers and will be hugely missed.

'Since joining the show in 2011, he has competed in eight series, made it to four finals and was crowned champion with Caroline Flack in 2014.

'We would like to thank him for everything he has contributed to the show over the years and wish him the very best for the future.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
