«Breaking News» Viral photo shows Subway employee dangling feet near food storage

A disturbing photo went viral over the weekend showing a Michigan Subway employee dangling her bare feet over a counter near food storage.

Customer Tara Renee shared the photo from a sandwich shop in Ann Arbor Saturday evening.

Renee took to her Facebook page writing: 'This is at the Subway on State St. near the U of M! Quite disgusting! I'm sure the health dept would have an issue with this. Bon appetit.'

The post was shared more than 8,600 times on Facebook as of Tuesday evening.

The Health Department was informed about the incident Monday and performed a thorough inspection of the restaurant.  

Washtenaw County Health Department environmental health director, Kristen Schweighoefer, told M Live the location was inspected last month and received a 'good report'.  

Business development agent Kip Klopfenstein also said: 'The behavior in this photo is inconsistent with the high standards Subway Franchise Owners follow.

'Their top priorities include food safety and cleanliness, and this is unacceptable.' 

Several Facebook users took to the comments of the post to share their thoughts on the matter this week.

'Total lack of respect on many levels,' one user wrote. 

'And look behind her a bag of rotisserie chicken just sitting out not temp controlled, disgusting she obviously is not worried,' someone else added. 

'American, provolone, swiss, pepper jack, or toe cheese?,'  another quipped.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
