Twitter users have shared their astonishing encounters with celebrities before they were famous.
The Twitter thread was kicked off by American director Miles Kahn, who recalled how he witnessed 'Nirvana opening for Pearl Jam opening for Chili Peppers' in 1991, before the height of their fame.
In a viral tweet that has since amassed 10,000 likes and retweets, he asked: 'What's your craziest "I saw them before they were big' concert?".
And followers soon flooded the thread with their incredible experiences of A-listers before they were famous, sharing unrecognisable pictures of the celebrities.
One user revealed they had watched Katy Perry perform at a wedding, describing her as a 'Christian singing teen' by the name of Hudson, while her former guitarist joked that she needed help changing a guitar string.
Elsewhere a user revealed he came across Kendrick Lamar performing under his original stage name 'K Dot'.
Meanwhile one fan described the 'otherworldly hunger' in Taylor Swift's eyes when he encountered her at just 14, admitting that he knew then she would be famous.
And others shared their early experiences of Adele, with one claiming she 'drank whisky throughout the set' and said in a cute way: 'Don't ask for an encore because I don't have any more f***ing songs'.

Sean Dayton revealed: 'I did a few shows playing guitar for Katy Perry (Katy Hudson at the time). She was good but still needed help changing her guitar strings (2-min before performing)', sharing an incredible picture of the star and her autograph
Twitter user Jason Hampton posted a snap of Adele performing at the beginning of her fame in 2007, revealing that her set was followed by Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling and Bombay Bicycle Club

Twitter user 'Sir Ater' tweeted of his experience with a star before their fame: 'Kendrick Lamar (k dot at the time) and Jay Rockopening up before DJ Quik 2007. Didn't know who they were but they were entertaining.'

A Twitter user by the name of 'Duty Guy' replied to Cory Palmer, revealing of Katy Perry: 'Ha! She sang at a friend's wedding I attended and years later blew up and when my wife explained it to me I was blown away'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
