«Breaking News» Newborn girl is found dead inside a trash can at Amazon distribution center in Phoenix

The body of a newborn girl was found inside a restroom trash can at an Amazon distribution center in Phoenix on Wednesday night. 

Phoenix police said the baby was discovered inside the women's restroom just before 8.30pm.

The baby was 'beyond resuscitation' when first responders arrived to the scene.

Sgt Vince Lewis confirmed to the DailyMail.com that the baby was a girl.  

Lewis said investigators have located and spoken to the mother, who will not be identified at this time. She is cooperating with investigators. 

He said 'it appeared to first responders that the baby was full term or close to that'.

Lewis did not confirm if the mother was an Amazon employee, but he did say that the restroom was inside of a 'secured' facility. 

He also wouldn't confirm if the mother gave birth inside the bathroom.  

Amazon said in a statement that the baby's death is 'a terribly sad and tragic incident'.

'We are working with local authorities to support their investigation. The safety and wellness of our team is our top priority.' 

Police said the warehouse remained in operation while officers were on scene. 

The massive distribution center on the city's southwest side is one of several Amazon sites in metro Phoenix.

No charges have been filed in the case. 

The state of Arizona has the Safe Haven Law which allows for the safe hand-off of babies up to three years old.  

Mothers can leave their babies 'with an on duty staff member at any hospital, emergency medical service provider, fire station or with any licensed private child welfare agency, licensed adoption agency or any church in Arizona'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
