«Breaking News» Missing infant's father 'staged son's abduction to cover up foul play'

San Antonio police say the reported abduction of a missing eight-month-old boy was staged by his father to cover up 'foul play' involving the child.

Police Chief William McManus declined Monday to elaborate on whether he believes King Jay Davila is alive, saying 'we believe there was foul play, that's all I'll say'.

The baby's father, Christopher Davila, 34, told police Friday that his car with the child inside was stolen after he left it running and unlocked when he went into a convenience store.

McManus said the still-missing child was not in the car and the woman seen driving away in the car away is Davila's cousin.

She has been arrested on unrelated charges.

The incident unfolded around 7pm Friday evening outside the Friends Food Mart located at 351 Enrique Barrera Parkway. 

Police said Davila's cousin had been dropped off near the gas station by another individual whose identity has not been released. 

In surveillance footage, the woman is seen wearing a grey hoodie as she quickly walks over to Davila's parked Dodge Dart.

She then gets inside the vehicle and drives to Rodriguez Park where she left it.

The child was not inside. A short time later she is seen carrying a car seat down a street. 

Initial reports said Davila called police, but when they questioned him, his story did not add up.

Police did not specify what was odd about the father's story.

McManus said King Jay was wearing a blue onesie and has a scratch over his left eye.

Investigators believe the child is in danger because of the way he went missing.

Davila has been charged with child endangerment and has denied being involved in the boy's disappearance.

'Even if you are not directly involved in this, if you are withholding information, if you have lied to the police, then we will charge you at the conclusion of this investigation,' McManus said during a press conference on Monday.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy.
