«Breaking News» Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson 'left inconsolable after they are robbed'

Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson suffered fresh heartbreak after they were allegedly robbed of jewellery and electrical goods worth thousands.

It comes just eight days after fellow Love Island star Olivia Attwood and her footballer beau Bradley Dack were left shaken after two Mercedes cars were stolen.

Thieves targeted the London lovenest while Wes, 20, was training for Dancing on Ice while Megan, 24, was out for the evening with her mum.

A source told The Sun: 'The entire flat was completely ransacked by thieves. They clearly knew exactly what they were looking for because they cleared them out of a huge amount of jewellery and electrical items.

'Megan and Wes are obviously inconsolable, because a lot of their personal items also got taken in the robbery. The flat was left in utter carnage.'

MailOnline has approached Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson's representatives for further comment.

Love Island's longstanding couple Megan and Wes moved into their first London home just three months ago in October.

Megan often shares snaps from inside her household with her 1.8m followers while Wes gives his 1.6m followers a glimpse into their home life on social media.  

The insider went onto add: 'Wes and Megan really regret putting up pictures of the inside of their home, because the robbers could have been watching.'

Megan and Wes have been at the centre of controversy as the engineer's stint on Dancing on Ice has put their romance under strain.

The blonde publicly hit out at her man's skating partner Vanessa Bauer after she split up with her Wes lookalike beau ahead of the show. 

As if that wasn't enough, Megan was rushed to hospital with a kidney infection hours before she attended the very glitzy and boozy NTAs with her love.

Only eight days ago, Olivia detailed the extent of thieves targeting the home she shares with her footballer beau.

The Celebs Go Dating star revealed her two expensive Mercedes cars were found abandoned following the raid. 

Olivia also shared Chanel and Louis Vuitton bags, Rolex watches and a brand new laptop were taken in the targeted incident.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
