Lily Allen has revealed her stalker is still contacting her, three years after his sectioning following a decade-long campaign of harassment. 

Speaking on How To Fail With Elizabeth Day - a podcast teaching listeners how failure can help with success and how to learn from your mistakes - the esteemed hitmaker discussed a host of issues, while also revealing her ongoing woes.   

On her ordeal with Alex Gray, she said she is still being contacted and was 'gaslit' by the police: 'I got an email from him on Friday, showing he's still obsessed. The police until a couple of weeks before the trial tried to pass it off as a burglary.'

Lily set tongues wagging in September when she released her memoir My Thoughts Exactly, in which she details her infidelities to ex-husband Sam Cooper, her excessive drink and drug abuse and her devastating stillbirth. 

As well as the explosive, inspiring and heartbreaking tales, the Smile hitmaker also chronicled her stalker ordeal which saw 'obsessed' Gray break into her home, leading to the star turning into a 'hermit'.

In the chat with journalist Elizabeth, she admitted she was not satisfied with the work of police as they tried to pass off Gray's break-in as a burglary.

Lily stated: 'I was sort of gaslit by police. I can't tell you what their motivations were, but from my perspective this guy committed this horrendous crime and I believed he would do it again. In fact, I got an email from him on Friday...

He wrongly believed that Lily owed him millions of pounds for stealing his song lyrics and may have had a part in his father's death. 

She lived with a panic alarm after calling police when she saw a sign saying 'I wrote The Fear' in the audience of a show and had security shutters installed in her home, but on October 1 2015 she forgot to lock her door after opening it to place a burned pan outside.

She awoke to hear her bedroom door opening and Gray walked in yelling that she was a 'f****** bitch' in the early hours of following morning.

Gray had already taken her handbag, phone, jewellery, hard drive, keys, a glass vase and money and stashed them somewhere before returning to her room.

Sentencing, Judge Martyn Barklem said: 'This was a terrifying experience for (Lily Allen), and it was extremely fortunate there was an adult male in the property who evicted Mr Gray from it.'

In an impact statement the singer described her terror when she confronted the stalker in her bedroom and said she could no longer live in the property.

'He is plainly delusional and obsessed and I am terrified as to what he will do next. Given his crazy obsession with me and I am really concerned about the future when Mr Gray is released.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
