«Breaking News» Katie Price arrives at court to face drink-driving charge

Katie Price today pleaded not guilty to drink-driving after allegedly crashing her £75,000 pink Range Rover into a parked car. 

The mother-of-five allegedly crashed in south-east London after her ex-boyfriend's birthday party in the early hours of October 10 last year. 

The court heard when she was breathalysed she had some 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml.  

Wearing a fur coat and oversize glasses, the 40-year-old smiled as she arrived at Bromley Magistrates' Court this morning where she denied being almost twice over the limit.

Katie was arrested in the early hours of the morning last October after reportedly 'turning up uninvited' to her on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson's 30th birthday party. Pictured, her damaged Range Rover 

Price was charged by postal requisition in December following the incident last October.

Prosecutor Kate Seal said the issue in the case was whether Price was driving in Shooters Hill, Woolwich, at the time of the incident.

The court heard CCTV from a nearby block of flats may have captured some of the incident. 

Price appeared in the dock wearing a grey fur jacket, skinny jeans and black high-heeled boots.

The judge ignored her request not to state her address, as is normal in open court protocol.

Price said: 'There are press in court and I don't want them to know where I live.'

Her solicitor said: 'The position is she has been trying to become anonymous for some time.'

District Judge Nigel Dean said: 'I think the public and members of the press are entitled to know the address of the defendant. All defendants are treated equally.'  

Judge Dean granted Price bail until her next appearance. 

She will next appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court in February for her trial.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
