A KFC employee's violent reaction to a complaint that she failed to wear gloves while preparing food has been caught on tape.
Shade Renee Simmons, 30, was arrested and charged with battery using a 'personal or special weapon' late last month in Jacksonville, Florida, after the shocking drive-thru incident.
Customer Ronald Jenkins, 53, began filming at the drive-thru window at the KFC on Edgewood Avenue after he noticed Simmons preparing his box of extra crispy chicken and biscuits without a hairnet or gloves on.
Inside the KFC, the video shows Simmons getting increasingly agitated over the fact that Jenkins is filming, as the worker tries to block his view through the window.

Jenkins later explained that he was recording because he planned to go inside the location and contact the manger about how the food was prepared and say that he did not want the order.
Finally Simmons snaps, opening the window and shouting: 'What is you recording?'
Jenkins replies that this is America, and he can film whatever he wants in public.
The agitated worker turns and grabs Jenkins' order, puts it in a bag, and returns to the drive-thru, where she slings it violently at him.
'Get your food. Bye,' Simmons says.
Employee Shade Renee Simmons, 30, became irate when she noticed Jenkins filming her, storming over to the drive-thru and yelling: 'What is you recording?'
Simmons slung the bag of food violently at Jenkins, hitting him the the face
Jenkins said that the box of food hit his phone, which struck him in the mouth, damaging a tooth and causing him to bleed.
'She didn't throw it, she actually swung it and hit me in the face with it,' he told WJXT-TV. 'It was a backhand, pow!'
After he showed the manager the video, Jenkins got a refund on the spot.
Police were also contacted, and arrested Simmons at the restaurant on December 29 after viewing the video.
The KFC franchise where Simmons worked also fired her. 'The actions of the employee were unacceptable and the franchisee who owns the restaurant terminated her employment,' a KFC spokesperson told DailyMail.com in a statement.
'We believe in respect for all people and any behavior otherwise will not be tolerated.'

Jenkins said he will never return the to location (above) where the incident occurred
It is not Simmons' first brush with the law, Duval County records show. In 2007 she was charged with domestic battery and in 2009 she was charged with petty retail theft, getting a suspended sentence.
Then in December 2013, Simmons was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, driving on a suspended license, and probation violation. The battery charge was dropped and she was released on time served after spending a month in county jail.
After her most recent arrest, Simmons was released on a $5,003 bond on New Year's Eve. She does not appear to have a court date set, and declined to comment to local media.
Jenkins says he will never again go to the KFC location where the incident occurred, and is considering a civil suit.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
