Howard Schultz, the former Starbucks CEO who is openly contemplating an independent bid for the Presidency, deleted a tweet linking to an article that referred to Elizabeth Warren as ‘Fauxcahontas’ and Kamala Harris as ‘shrill’.
Schultz on Wednesday posted a tweet to his Twitter timeline that linked to a column by conservative writer Roger Simon.
The column, which is titled ‘Howard Schultz Could Actually Win the Presidency,’ blasted Democrats and liberals for opposing the billionaire’s possible entry into the 2020 race for fear that it could siphon enough votes and ensure re-election for President Trump.
In the online commentary, Simon makes reference to Harris, the Senator from California who last week officially announced her candidacy.

On Wednesday, he deleted a tweet linking to an article that referred to Elizabeth Warren (right) as ‘Fauxcahontas’ and Kamala Harris (left) as ‘shrill’
‘Thank you @Rogerlsimon for a thoughtful analysis of what’s possible. #ReimagineUS,’ Schultz tweeted with a link to the column
Simon blasted Harris as ‘a shrill (see the Kavanaugh hearings) quasi-socialist promising pie in the sky - Medicare-for-all, debt-free college, guaranteed pre-K, minimum basic income, confiscatory taxes - and she’s just getting started.’
He also denigrated another Democratic contender, Senator Warren of Massachusetts, as ‘Fauxcahontas.’
Warren, who has long claimed Native American ancestry, has been called ‘Pocahontas’ by President Trump and his supporters.
'Shrill', when used to describe a person or a thing, means 'emitting a sharp high-pitched tone or sound.'
It is considered sexist to refer to a woman as shrill.
‘Thank you @Rogerlsimon for a thoughtful analysis of what’s possible. #ReimagineUS,’ Schultz tweeted with a link to the column.
After he deleted the tweet, an aide to Schultz told a Washington Post reporter that the former Starbucks CEO was 'not personally responsible' for posting the link.

Schultz has been at loggerheads with Democrats because of proposals made by Harris, Warren, Senator Bernie Sanders, and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to expand the welfare state by increasing taxes on the top income earners in the country.
On Tuesday, Schultz blasted Warren for her ‘ridiculous plan of taxing wealthy people a surtax of 2 per cent.’
He accused the Senator of chasing a ‘good headline.’
Warren answered, tweeting: ‘What’s “ridiculous” is billionaires who think they can buy the Presidency to keep the system rigged for themselves while opportunity slips away for everyone else.’
Schultz deleted the tweet on Wednesday shortly before posting a video in which he once again makes his case that he should be elected President while responding to criticism from Warren and other Democrats.
‘Senator Elizabeth Warren said some pretty sharp words about me,’ the coffee mogul said.
‘She referred to me as a billionaire out of touch with the American people.
‘I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, in Canarsie, in federally subsidized housing, the projects.
‘When I was 7 years old my father who was a laborer came home and had a serious accident.
‘He was dismissed from his job, we lost our health insurance.
‘I witnessed the fracturing of the American dream.

‘Senator Elizabeth Warren said some pretty sharp words about me,’ the coffee mogul said. ‘She referred to me as a billionaire out of touch with the American people'
‘I started with nothing and I made it in America because of the aspiration, the magnetism, and the spirit of our country.
‘I’ve always believed in the promise of our country.
‘What is the promise of the country? What it is is regardless of your station in life, the color of your skin, your gender, your sexual orientation, whatever it might be, that everyone should have a chance in America.
‘What we need right now in America is for the country to come together, and for the Democrats and Republicans, who have been unwilling to work together, to finally realize that the American people deserve much more than political slogans and tweets.
‘What we need is a government that can work for us, leadership that we can trust.
‘And if I run for President, what I am going to try to do is restore the faith and the promise of the country and the American dream.’
Earlier on Wednesday, Schultz vowed he will not be the person who reelects President Donald Trump and said he must be doing something right if Democrats are so outraged at the thought of him making an independent bid in 2020.
I will 'never put myself in a position where I would be the person who re-elects Donald Trump, but that is not what I believe today,' he told CNN on Wednesday.
And when asked his thoughts on President Trump, Schultz replied: 'Despicable.'
The former Starbucks magnet has been weighing an independent bid in 2020 as he promotes his new book 'From the Ground Up: A Journey to Reimagine the Promise of America.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
